firecrackers are GREAT / microwave-able??
2 days ago, i made firecrackers for the first time ever. i used an oven and nutella, instead of all that organic peanut butter whatever.
preheated at 350F, then baked at 350F for exactly 15 minutes. then i microwaved it for 30 seconds (felt like it) with seran wrap covering it completely. then i saved them. the day after (yesterday) i ate them.
i only used .6 grams of weed, on two sets of crackers (so 2 firecrackers).
experience:
to make a long story short, i was VERY high for 4.5 hours, excluding the come down and the first feelings of "mellowness" before it reallllly hits.
so i was wondering..
since i can't use the oven right now, could i microwave firecrackers and get high off them? i'm pretty sure u can pull it off, even if it is less potent than if u did it with the oven.
with seran wrap, i don't really feel i'll lose THC in case i "evaporate" it.
so the main question: how long should i microwave the firecrackers??
i have a feeling 1 minute and 30 seconds on HIGH will do the job.
firecrackers are GREAT / microwave-able??
yeah dude i was thinking the same thing, ill try it right now and ill tell ya if it works! haha i gotta try something new ya know!
firecrackers are GREAT / microwave-able??
Nah, you have to get the firecrackers hot enough. I don't think it's a very good idea.
Need more liquid, like heating up milk or butter and adding cannabis to it would work better but it still wouldn't be ideal.

I would use aluminum foil to wrap them up

Well... first, put the weed into a cup, put some water in it (about 1/2 of the cup), and microwave it until the water evaporates completly. It will be enough to decarboxilate the weed (what happens when we put it into the oven). If there is some material glued (cant find better word) in the internal walls of the cup, scrape it, for avoid any waste of THC.
Then, use this weed in the firecrackers. Put it in the nutella, and microwave just the time needed to make it. As you already decarboxylated the weed, 1-2 minutes will be enough. And there is no danger of evaporating the THC in the microwave, as it only reaches temperatures near 100C (212F), much lower than the boiling point of THC (>200C).
Ive heard is not nice to put any metal into the microwave. Ive heard there is a lot of sparking. I would like too much do make this experiment, but my mom never allowed to do it with her microwave... :(

So we pour water on the weed?
And yer sure this will work?

Putting water in the weed is done to assure the weed will be heated during a reasonable amount of time (the time needed to the water boil completly).
Or you can just heat the weed in the microwave, without water, since you let it during some minutes (3-5).
Of course heating the weed in the microwave is not so good as in the oven, but it works well enough... :stoned:

Wait... So your saying if I put like .5 G of bud on a cracker, put some Peanut butter on top, and another cracker on top of that, then cover it with saran wrap /tin foil and microwave it for like 1:30 to 2:00 and eat it..I'll get baked? How does 22 min in the over on 350 degrees equal out to 1:30 in the micro?

Tin foil + microwave = bad
firecrackers are GREAT / microwave-able??
Oh i meant just saran wrap lol...but would that would?
firecrackers are GREAT / microwave-able??
^ no real reason to wrap'em anyway
firecrackers are GREAT / microwave-able??
throw a quarter stick of butter into a microwaveable bowl and nuke it til it has melted and is real hot. throw in your finely chopped bud..up to a gram..and stir it well. the fat in the butter is dissolving the THC and making it available for the liver to process. when it has cooled down add 4-6 tablespoons of peanut butter and stir together. you may have to adjust the weed/butter ratio to your preference (i.e. stiff, gooey or runny and thin). spread the mixture onto crackers and enjoy them for 7 to 8 hours. it takes a couple hours to come on and you will be hung over in the morning. try it with hash. melt a half gram of hash into 4 tsp of butter and eat it on bread, using a slice to "mop up" inside the bowl. hmm..making myself hungry!

Why does it matter if I use organic peanut butter or jiffy/skippy?
firecrackers are GREAT / microwave-able??
I just tried this in the microwave and it was terrible! It was in there for maybe one minute and started smoking. There was smoke everywhere! lol

THC is fat soluble. meaning the higher % of fat in the PB, the better off you'll be. Ive tried with skippy before and it doesnt work nearly as good.
