ok i was reading about hydro ponics and found something i though was cool!
High O2 (oxygen) levels in the water will make the roots grow faster and stronger, thus provideing the plant with more nutes so it can grow faster and biger!
so this is what i did i got an old 10 gallon fish tank i had laying around, filled it with water got 3 air pumps and a filter system i got some air stones from the pet store, and started puming about 30 cubic feet of air into the take of water
i plan on adding some more nutes like mirical grow bloom feed and stuff like that
this sound like a good plan or am i wasteing my time again?

General Hydroponics makes a good basic fert. There are 3 to the set. Follow directions for all 3 stages. You are correct about the oxygen levels in the water. Very necessary for rapid, strong root growth.

Even if you are growing in soil, you have to make sure it is not too compact to allow for a good flow of oxygen. I only grow hydroponically and don't know your situation however, I go from seed to bud in 90 days with hydro and never have gotten the same results with soil. Plus, there are too many insect and mold problems with soil.

*sigh* i need a turn over like that i smoke way to much to be growing with soil but to damn poor to do hydro. i'm thinking about getting a few more air pumps and rigging up a system to pump air down in the soil. that along with the high amout of O2 in the water should be enought to make the roots happy as hell : )
could you please post a pic of your hydro set up? and maybe some pics of the stuff you use to feed/ take care of your babies?

It might stunt growth if you put the plants into hydro after starting the plants in soil.

I heard you on the mold and bugs, hydro all the way soil sux...IMO
