Hey all,
I think I'm going to transplant these to 6" pots today, There looking a bit pale and yellowish and stretched. Or do you think there a bit young. I think they need Nitrogen from the yellowing.
So i picked up some ffoceanforest. My plants will be 3weeks old on sunday. Will this be ok? They have not had any nutes, only ro water.
what do you think?

i agree your going to need more light for sure.. i would transplant them yet they look like they have a bit more growing in them before you will need to worry about that.. anyway good luck mate

What everyone else said. And don't worry, they are just seedlings. Stretching sometimes does mean you need to give 'em more light but when you transplant you can bury that stretched stem below the dirt up to the embryo leaves and they should be fine :). They are lookin pretty good to me.

Do you think they are rootbound? If not ... keep them in that pot until they are .... just feed the weak solution as suggested earlier.
Happy growing!

that's a nice setup...those seedlings have still yet to really start growing...couple more days and once another set of leaves or two grow, they should take off..do look a bit stretched..get them closer to the fluoros if you can
Whoa whoa..just actually read it..3 weeks? they need some more lights or something...they don't seem to be growing too fast..
get some cfl's or something...how many tubes are in there? not near enough lumens to keep those young ones happy

Hey guys,
Thanks for all the feedback!
These are just bagseed I got from a buddy, I can only hope there an indica:)
Well, I've been learning from my mistakes, for starters I didn't fill my cups all the way with my shitty walmart soil, so when they start to stretch I dropped them gently out of their cups and put about 3" of soil in the bottom of my cupsto make them level with the rim of the cups, when I had them tipped i could see a few roots at the bottom?? So figured I'd transplant them to 6" pots, also got some FFOF and some superthrive, also some schultz plant food I think its 10-15-12?
Sorry to keep ramblin, the seedlings seem to be growing VERY slowly? You think its lighting? The catylones(SP) are still greenish yet leaves look pale and yellowish.
So what do you think I should do?
Thanks

my one thought is that if your soil is too dense the roots might have a hard time pushing through when they're young; one reason to use a lot of perlite in your first soil mix in your first cups

Hii all,
I just thought I'd give you all an update.
Ok, I went out and got more lights 4 100w equivelents. I think they seem to like it, still not much growth. I've started in the last 2 waterings some superthrive and some schultz plant food 10-15-12, is this stuff gonna work, I read somewhere mj need lots of N during growth, Do i have enough N? They seem to be getting yellower. Kinda bummed:( Oh well, first grow.
So, just took these pics, the yellowing, is it burning or a def. Oh,, I been doing half strength with the nutes, like 2 drops per half quart, and like 3 drops of superthrive to a gallon of RO water. The soil is hyponex with nothing in it but perlite.
Should I just transplant these bitches (hopefuly)
also, will pelletized dolimite lime work for my new soil mixture? I was gonna use FFOF, perlite, and a little D lime, and how much pellet lime per 6" container?
Do you think there ready HID's, I've got a 400w MH in a cooltube just waiting:)
Thanks for you feedback!

Yeah, though it is kind of early for feeding. I'd wait til you see 2 or 3 nodes and largly developed leaves before feeding or it could spell trouble for you

Thanks Strwbrryfldsfrvr.
I read that when the baby leaves start to yellow, they needed food.
It sure looks like a defficiancy of some sort.
soo, is pelletized dolimite lime safe to use on my plants? I need to mix up my soil:)
