ok so i am an engaged 18 year old but i am going through some problems. i cannot shake the feeling of wanting to be with other girls. i mena, my fiancee is bangin and everything is amazing and she satisfies the fuck out of me but even with all that i STILL just want to exp. new girls. i dont want to be friends with them, i dont want to talk the next day, i just want to fuck other chicks. i dont know what the fuck my deal is but i cant stop thinking about it. i heard once its because men and naturally always wanting to spread their seed...but anyways, how many of you have cheated on a bf/gf/fiancee/spouse? more then once? do oyu think its ok? i read in mags all the time that everyone does it im jsut wondering what you guys think.

Dude its because you're 18. I am 18 and want to do the same shit although i am not engaged nor am i in a relationship so i get to do those things but think man, its for the rest of your life and were young. You should be livin it up!

Human monogomy isn't a natural thing: society has created it. People have to force themselves to be faithful...which they should, considering the complex emotions humans have developed as well.

It kind of sounds like you have cold feet. I wouldnt say that its not normal to be feeling the way you do. You're young and saying that youre only going to be with one person the rest of your life is pretty scary. I would really encourage you to stay faithful to your fiancee. It wouldnt be fair to her if you cheated on her. If you're having second thoughts about spending the rest of your life with her you need to address those now rather than later.

^^^ I gotta agree with that opinion above. You're way too young to be getting committed and trying to be monogamous right now, and I agree that that's a challenge even under the best of circumstances, especially for men. You're right at that age where the urge to be with a variety of women is completely normal. I hope you have enough courage and honesty to tell your fiancee that you're not ready to be committed or married right now so you don't make a mess of that. It's a heck of a lot easier to stop the commitment train now than to get married too young, make each other's lives a living hell, complicate things further by having kids, and then tearing that family apart in the end because you got married too young. Marriage is hard enough even when you wait till you're older and you've sewn all your wild oats beforehand.

Listen, I got married at 20, and lemme tell you. If you aren't truly committed to this, you'll end up with a big mess on your hands.......you become one...not only in soul, but assets and liabilities. I married solely out of love without thinking of the consequences, and it was rough. This is a woman I still hold fondly to my heart. Our entire relationship was ruined because we moved through it so fast. You don't want to do that. Slow and steady wins the race.

too young.. you havent explored your options yet. i'm in some similar situation, afraid of comitment because it might end in marriage. already? i mean long temrm things scare me!
its the same thing with work, the seniorities are leaving making me the seniority and i feel like i have to commit my life to work now that they're gone.. its scares me. i feel like i have a responsibility and a end of a bargain to live up to. scary!

Yes, that is how old I was when I got married. And it was WAY too young. I should have waited another 8 or 10 years. I wasn't nearly grown up enough at 22, much less four years earlier. That's why I urge others to give it longer and spare themselves the pain of having to grow up and go through all those changes once they're already married. I speak from experience. It's much easier to just be a kid for a while longer!

Yeah, 18 is kinda young. 10 the people I graduated with are married/preggers, and all of them are miserable... Think about it...
