10:06: The people at my table begin talking about energy healing. Everyone is mesmerized by a girl who took a class in it. I tell them that energy healing is a worthless and solipsistic pseudo-science. They think energy healing is a real science because the instructor of the girl's class went to Harvard. One guy calls it a "legitimate, certifiable science," while making air quotes with his fingers. I tell them that they are all (while imitating his air quotes) "legitimate, certifiable idiots" because they believe in horse-shit like energy healing. Two girls call me close-minded. I tell them that they are so open-minded that their brains leaked out. They all glare at me with disapproval. I hate everyone at my table.
I have both a myspace and a facebook. I only use facebook though.
i have a myspace, i gave it out to people here that i knew, but i wouldnt now cause its got personal information and stuff on it.. you gotta be careful sometimes, ya know? :p

hopefully someday we'll have a new more dedicated student messaging system
I wouldn't even put incriminating information on myspace. Employers search those things heavily now.Quote:

It could be as simple as tying their name on the search. Usually more complex measured are applied, but I'm not sure what they are. Usually, good companies have IT staff behind them dedicated to doing background checks and monitoring....
I deleted mine for that reason.
XD. I'm already friends with you King Justin.
Well Jesus this thread fun.
I know it's a horrible obscene use of advertising prowess on the part of Rupert Murdoch, but I don't care. I don't use it to get attention or shit, I just like doing new things.
thc, I don't put anything incriminating on MySpace, and it wouldn't matter right now because I'm a student.. What I meant was that I would never post my MySpace address on a public forum as it has my name, location, date of birth, etc, stuff that I don't necessarily want readily available to anybody ;)
not just america man, England is loaded with myspace junkies (especially fucking teenagers my age), new comments are their fix and their always whoring out myspace with backgrounds, fonts etc just for attention.Quote:
