I am interested in looking for a vaporizer so my girlfriend wouldn't have to smell the weed (she's not a fan of the smell, otherwise doesn't mind it) and I'm wondering if they really are odorless?
Thanks for any help :)

Pretty close. Both of my adult sons are straight and hate the smell of cannabis. Things have gone a lot smoother since I got a Vapor Bros. It was worth every penny! I don't need to use strong incense any more- I get to use my lightly scented Japanese incense and it works fine to cover up the last vestiges of the pot's smell. Hope you have the same luck that I've had. And you will also get rid of that morning cough as an added bonus!!! - Granny:hippy:
man i cant even fathom not liking the smell
Thanks for the help :) One last quick question -- I have seen $20 vaporizers for sale, little glass ones that look like nothing more than a cigarette...are they effective?
You get what you pay for. Life lesson everybody. I would recommend a volcano, at least something convection and not conduction. Although the volcano is pricey, knowing what i know now, if it would of cost 1000 dollars I still would of bought it. The health benfits alone are amazing, and the extraction rate is ridiculous. I have seen many hardcore glass fans that have used other vaporizers with little enjoyment use the volcano and rave about the high and taste. The hype isn't just hype, the Volcano is the shit. I was one of those glass people ($3000 in glass) and I havent smoke in 3 months since getting my volcano. I turned down the volcano time after time at head shops while buying my headdie peices. SORRY LUNGS!! GET ONE!!! PEACE
Also, no vaporizers are odorless, the smell is always gonna be there. Its not gonna smell as bad as a normal smoke, and it will dissipate must faster, but there is an odor. peace
"as normal smoke, and it will dissipate much faster"
Stormcrow, are you saying if they were gay something would be different?
you should get a better one than that. something with a heating coil (preferably non metalic) and use glass on glass connections. I have a california vapor co it cost me around 160, and it takes a few days to get the hang of it but once you do its sweet
I think she meant straight edge.Quote:

Definitely!!! If you're spending less than $100 on a vap you're wasting your money. The Vapor Broz or Vapor Warez will cost about $150 and will be well worth the extra investment. While not as fantastic as a volcano, they work extremely well and will save you a lot of $ that you can put into buds. Vaps are kinda like cars:Quote:

I am going to buy a vape, should I buy a $150 one for my first one or save my money and buy a volcano?
save up. volcano 100% worth it!!
Eh... bought the $150 vape. The one I bought doesn't look like anything bad, it looks like a pencil sharpener without the whip on.
I have an herbalaire. It cost about $250 and is awesome. Supposedly, it is as efficient as a volcano, but I personally have never compared the two.
I can say that it is a great vap, though.
You could make your own... dont know how well they work though.
Marijuana Video: The Homemade Lightbulb Vaporizer Video
There are plenty of lighter base Vaporizers on the market. The VaporStar and the VaporGenie both work great. I own the VaporStar as do a few others here and it produces nice thick vapor hits. The Glass pipe ones are the ones that are a true joke. You don't have to pay $150-$250 to get a vaporizer. Google - VaporStar - watch the video - thats a vapor hit - seeing is beleaving and owning is knowing.
Hmm...im pretty sure the headshop near me sells the volcano for 70 its one of the cheapest ones they have.Quote:

Post the address and they'll have a flood of customers. Volcano's cost $500+Quote:

OH MY GOD I WANT A VAPORSTAR! That video was insane! I hope it is just like the video. I will get one with the rest of my birthday money sometime when the american dollar's value goes up compared to the euro (10 dollars for 8 euros, then goes to 8 dollars for 8 euros)
I thought the VERY SAME THING the first time I saw it, and you know what? It lives up to expectations, It's just one Kick Ass portable little vaporizer that keeps the style of smoking and just does what it is suppose to do. I own 2 and I think I'm going to get me 2 more bowls. Can't beat it for $50 shipped.Quote:

I can't imagine ANY Vaporizer at ANY price being more FUN to use. I really promote things that have worked for me because I remember thinking for months on the big electric units and then I stumbled across this one and realized it was just what I wanted, Portable, Fast(Vapors in 6 seconds), Cool, Fair Price, non-electric, smart way to vape. I can't image being tied to a set location till I vape my herb, I like to lay on my couch watch TV and just use it like a bong at my own leasure. The Simplicity is it's strenth. I love it, as do the others here that own them.
i have a voodoo and i was wondering if anyone knew where to go to buy replacement whips without having to order them through the mail, im thinking the hardware store, is safe to use the hardware materials?
How much are you wanting or expecting to pay for replacement whips?
