I was wondering if gravity bongs were necessarily worse than regular bongs or worse than any other way of smoking? I'm asking because the method that has to be used. All the smoke being forced into the lungs and all that. Do you guys think it has greater health risks or what?
well its worse than a water bong simply because i water bong filters the smoke.......but i wouldnt think the whole forcing into your lungs part would have anything to do with it....but dont take my word for it
Any kind of smoke entering your lungs is bad for you. Bongs aren't so much as blunts/j's because it's filtered through the water. And if it's forced down into your lungs it's probably just as bad if you inhale it...
Or I don't know, I may be completely wrong. :D
Yeah I already know any type of smoke in the lungs isn't healthy but I was told that the gravity action isn't healthy at all. I don't know I just got into the g-bong thing, feel like I have a whole lot more experimenting to do with it before I give it a rest lol.

No actually I never said that, I had a debate with some one and that other person was saying that the force of smoke into the lungs was worse, I never thought that. If that was the case I never would have built a g-bong or continue to use one..Quote:

overall g bong are obviously worse for u then bongs but they conserve double and are easy and i love em..

look into attaching a bic pen onto the glass stem u (need to to do this) have on ur g bong and make it submerge in the water and this sounds liek heaven to me...

You get back what goes into the gravity bong. If there are little pieces of ash going through the bowl, then you are going to push it right back into your lungs, along with a shit load of THC.
The deeper the smoke goes into your lungs, the harder it is for the "resin" in your lungs to be cleaned out of there.
I'm not actually sure if this is true, I read this somewhere and I have no proof but you asked so...
dude g-bongs are not bad on ur lungs unless ur smoking tobacco out of them. if ur using mj then ur fine and u will just get really high. plus bud opens up ur airways in ur lungs so u cough all that shit out.....unlike tobacco which constricts them.

i use gravity bongs all the time and i dont ever get smokers cough or anything....my lungs feel just as good as before i started smoking so i dont think its doing much harm if any
Lol well see this turned out into a pretty good thread. Just thought it'd be a good debate. Honestly I don't think g-bongs are worse. I mean it's just smoke being pushed into lungs. I really think there is no difference. You're still inhaling smoke no matter what method you are using to smoke it.
Smoke is smoke - so really i dont think it'd be any worse for you.
As we know smoke is bad, whatever it is - but as we also now cannabis doesnt cause problems [irreversable ones] you'll be safe.
I must admit, i've never bothered with Gbongs but i might give it ago one day, seems like it's a good bit of kit.
