Buy seeds or use bagseed?

Well i grew a couple of plants outside in my backyard last summer, and they were in perfect condition for being in a mountain state and outdoors, then the 100+ temps hit and burned them up...well now i want to try cabinet growing and grow a couple plants for personal use. I would really prefer quality over quantity seeing as how im only growing a few plants and all. In everyones opinion, should i use bagseed or buy seeds from rhinoseeds.com? I plan on using a 400 watt universal ballast light with the proper duct work and a carbon filter since i am in the basement of the house, and it will be all organic soil growth. Any opinions or comments would help for sure! the cabinet is 5 feet tall x 3 feet wide x 2 feet deep.

I would recommend spending the money on quality genetics but I guess bag seed is good for practice. You might even end up with something great. I've always bought seeds and I have never regretted it.

alright, thats what i kinda figured. i should just spend the money and get proven genetics and get a strain that has the traits im looking for in the finished product. thanks man!

For your first indoor grow I would recommend doing a bag seed grow since they are free of charge and you can always use more that you didn't pay for in case the first ones die for what ever reason. When you get used to the whole thing then I'd use some seeds you bought, because I'd sure hate to spend like $100 for a pack of 10 seeds and then end up having a mistake with any of them haha.

my last grow had the bagseed plant yield the most. We have yet to test the potency though.

Look, if the seeds you start with are from reasonably good quality pot, chances are that you will get good (if not very good) plants. If you are getting schwag seeds, well, the outcome if more "iffy". If you saved "kickass" seeds, it is likely from someones "named seeds" grow and the plants will be excellent, even if you don't have a name for them. So what potency of seeded pot are you smoking?

Then there is the fact that you are new to growing indoors. It's way different than growing outdoors. Use the bag seed for your first grow. If you have problems, it isn't $100 or so, down the drain! I grow in a 2 x 5 closet and I like to use some 19 gallon storage tubs (exactly 2 feet wide) that I picked up at Walmart for $4. Use a fair amount of perlite to cut down the soil weight. Mites hit me during the budding stage of the grow and harvest was small :( (good quality, never-the-less:) ). The things I tried to get rid of the mites damaged the plants. Indoor growing is a bit more touchy in some ways. - Granny:hippy:

Well, for 50-60 bucks you can pick up some pretty decent seeds. You pay what for smoke in your area ? So lets say you fuck this grow up 94 times but still wind up with only 5 females (easy to do), and you only get 2 ounces of good quality weed..........Was it worth 50-60 bucks for 2 ounces ????? 25-30 bucks an ounce for seedless bud aint a bad price in my book. (I lowballed the numbers because I am figuring in the mistake factors)

AND.....you can learn to clone, get a mom, and you know what you got for the next grow, and the next grow, and the next grow............

Once you get a mom and start growing from clones, you love life. Thats when you got plants all growing same height (nice neat even canopy)......oh yeah.........now we are growin...........

You already got money in a 400 watt light, carbon filter, and whatever and wanna fuck with genetics you are not sure about???? Get ya something that is predominatly indica for your first grow. Northern Lights or a NLx. Good smoke and its very forgiving.

Oh yeah, grow in Coco.........its da bomb............

By the way, this shit is a weed. You really gotta try to kill it. As long as you even get the basics of this close on your first grow, you will do just fine. We are here to help, just ask. But do yer homework, too.

thanks for all the good advice! and what is special about coco? and ive done a HUGE amount of homework on indoor growing, so im hoping it will pay off! but i think im going to stick with some decent bag seeds for my first grow and get to learn the cloning process and all before i buy quality seeds and take a step in a further enhancing direction, as far as quality in pot goes. I decided to use my closet instead of my cabinet because my mom is being more leniant on me now, thank god haha

what about cheap seeds? Ive seen 10 packs for 20-30$ on dr chronic (nirvanas mainly, havent tried them yet) so you can get decent seeds that you dont really need to worry about bad genetics or anything

if you've got bagseeds, go ahead and use them for first grow; you can get fine pot from them; but if not, $20 sure isn't much for some decent genetics

I have been checkin out some online shops, im not sure which are good and which are bad, any advice on online shops?

and to bonger...considering you dont know me, and my mom is completely fine with it, and not to mention im nearly 20 years old, i wouldnt be calling me a kid...but i do appreciate your previous advice.
