Before we went to jamaica for vacation, he talked to me (I think he was wasted though) about smoking the "ganja" while we were there
I didnt, but im pretty sure he did. I smoke weed up to 2 times a week, and i guaruntee that he will not find my stash. I just want your guys' opinions.
Should i openly ask him about it? Or should i wait and use it as a defence if he ever catches me baked?
Im thinking if he's a regular toker, he wouldnt be mad, and might toke up one day. But if he's not, i think it could definately take the heat off me

should you strike up a conversation with your dad cuz you found evidence he may have toked in a past life, or should you keep quiet, and only use it as a last resort to lessen punishment (not rid you of it)...

tha'ts up to you really.. you need to understand his way of thinking, something none of us can... if he seems liek a liberal who is open to discussion over such things, i feel honesty is the best policy, even if it doesn't go well, you tried.... however if he has the republican all drugs are bad stance.. it'd probably be best kept in the dark... i hate lying to people, but in a situation like this, hidiing it is probably best anyways, for more than one reason..

first of all, i don't feel any kid should lose what their parents provide them with, just cuz he lieks to somke now and then (as long as he takes care fo his shit... school work ect) second, alot fo parents these days have no clue what they even 'hate'... they kno wwhat the govt. has told them... which just turns around and basicly says they know nothing of what they hate...

i dont think that he would be that obsessive with his power and think of himself as better than me because he overcame it
i improved my average since i started toking, and i play competitive hockey, and dont feel it affected my physical self

If he said for you not to smoke weed while yall was THERE...(KEYWORD THERE!) he probably knows you smoke at home but he aint want u to smoke it THERE

My friends dad is a major stoner, keeps his bong out and has had up to a quarter pound sitting out in the open, and he got super pissed when he found out his son was smoking. Just because they smoke, or did smoke, doesn't mean they will be cool with it.

Well I honestly think if he smokes he will not be as mad if he was a dad that didn't like Cannabis and was against it like my dad. My mom and every adult that I know that smokes is cool with the fact that I do it. So I think you should just openly ask him and discuss it with him if it's on your mind and get it out of the way.

Hey guys. For what it's worth I'm going to try and give you the father's point of view. I have a daughter just getting to the age where she's going to be trying it. Already has I've been told. Us fathers have our ways of finding things out. I'm betting your dad knows you toke and is just waiting for the right time to talk about it. i did like YEARS ago and for about 3 years of my youngen years i smoked wit my old man. made him feel better i was doing it with him and not some wacked out crack victim. (u know parents) i dont smoke wit him anymore since he stopped tokin. THAT BASTARD. but ever since i came out and told him and the mother its been all goood here for years. im sure they want me to stop but that ant gonna happen. atleast its not wat i was doing about a year ago. long live the greens :thumbsup:

I use to smoke witha friends parents. It was the coolest thing. I Like smoking with older people. I use to have a boss who was like 55...smoked with him too.

My friends parents were mad cool though. Old people who smoke are teh best. They don't give you dirty looks when your in public baked off your ass.

Anyway, I had to quit smokin cause of DOT drug tests. Just dunn wanna worry about it anymore.

Omfg finally some one that's seeing the same thing I am lol. I say that exact same shit. It's sooooo funny when people say blah blah blah, pot is bad because of this, pot is wrong because of that. Then I ask them one simple thing about it and they can't even answer it. It's so hilarious. All people ever mention is it makes you dumb, gives you cancer, kills brain cells, makes you addicted. Y'know those same shit that they have been using to drive people away from it every since they first prohibited it lol. It was really surprising though when most people that were against weed didn't even know you could really get high from eating it.
