where's maryjane and herb?
ganja sounds coolest.
I say different terms all the time. If I am talking to a non-smoker (and not one of my friends that know I smoke) I use Cannabis all the time. To my herb tolerant friends, I use pot, ganja, weed (not so much), MJ, herb (use it alot), canna-happiness, MMMmm good, *just smiles and walks away* (that is how they know what I am up to), or just marijuana. It is all about the context and situation.
ganja does sound the coolest but people make fun of me when I say it. It looks like weed is the most popular, which I pretty much expected.
i'd say endo and chronic.
Cannabis. I don't really like slang. I can take bud, though.
GotWake88, I agree with you on that. I like to say Cannabis or Marijuana, saying weed, dope, or grass seems to deface the thing that is Cannabis.
the term i use the most would be bud but since it isnt up there i voted reefer just cause i think its funny
Ganja because it has spiritual meaning.
Stop saying Marijuana then ;)Quote:

Herb is the healing of the nation
And i cant stand the word Marijuana, it's made up by a racist government for mexican workers, and has no place in the cannabis culture.
I love the word "ganja". Not only does it sound cool, it has an interesting history. The word "gāñjyā" was originally used in the ancient Sanskrit language of India for the hemp plant, and that word made its way into a lot of the modern languages of India and Southeast Asia. It was brought to Jamaica by Indian immigrants who spoke Hindi and the word caught on among the Jamaican locals. From there, it traveled to the rest of the English speaking world due to the influence of the Rastafari movement.
'Marijuana' is the government's slang. They succeeded in criminalizing it, partially because they called it by a colloquial term for 'lazy, jobless mexican'; and Mexican immigrants were looked down on at the time by many Americans.Quote:
