You, Yourself

How does everyone look at themselves? I mean honestly i really hate myself, i hate the way i am i hate the way i act i hate the way i look i hate everything about myself. I want to fix it but i cant. I honestly dont know why i feel this way, i just dont like myself. Id give anything to be someone else, i just dont like me, especially the way i look, i think im just really fucking ugly and i wish i could tear my face off and start a new. Sorry just had some thoughts and wondered how everyone else feels about themselves because i cant stand myself anymore.

I have an inferiority complex, so I think everyone around me is somehow "better" than me. Yea sometimes I hate myself as well your not alone man :)

Penguin, I understand where you're coming from. MANY people feel this way, particularly teens and young adults. Look around the mall sometime you're there at all of the people. Just people watch. You'll see that people are all differant, some dressed well, some not, and such. All people look differant. Give yourself time to grow into your features. I'm not preaching, just pointing some things out. Me? I've been there also. I always thought of myself as a piece of human garbage, of no use to anyone or anything. Not Good! lol Then again, what do you think Bill Gates thougth of himself at times? You're a great person, You're very well liked here. The thing is,.. screw it! You are you, there's no one else in the world that can take your place. You are a vital part of this world and I'm glad to know you!

Thats the way I see things life is life things happen for a reason and you are who you are for a reason.If somone hate you for who you are or what you do then you can simply say fuck you and move on. I am the type of person that hates to have problems with people i think we all should be freinds and smoke some weed.

Your you penguin and will be for the rest of your life, you'll just have accept that.

I agree with everyone that has posted so far. Give me a miricle wand and I'd change many thing's in my life, but it's not going to happen so that's it :eek: it's all down to me to make the decison to be comfortabe with myself.:)

Yeah it's important to know that the majority of people in this world don't think they're anything special, but everyone IS special in their own way. I too sometimes don't really think I'm that great, that I'm not important, that I'm not attractive, that I'm just a boring person that no one really likes (I've had an inferiority complex for quite a while as well). But know that other's usually don't think of you in a bad way... it's all just in your head, and once you realize that and gain more confidance, you'll see that you're not as bad as you thought you were and that people actually like you! :D

It's funny this thread came up, cause I just took 200mg of 5-HTP lol... my inferiority complex is gone for now ;)

i just popped 6. 750 vicodin,,now im high finally,,,dam i cant feel shit

truth of it is,,my insides are about gone from pills,,,but to late and now high,,,some people dont know the affects of a pill like vicodin,,dr never use to tell about taking so many for many yrs,,now,,they have to and monitor alot more,,thank god on that one,,but i pop like elvis use to,,,,,,

I like myself, for the most part... I've spent many years trying to become who I want to be, and I'm not even 100% sure what that is (which is my biggest problem). That said, yes there are things about me I don't like, in fact there are many. But everybody has a few self-loathing thoughts, and flaws are part of being human so I do my best not to worry about it.

If there is something you don't like about your self change it. Write down a list of things that you do that you don't like and start with one of them. Pay attention to what you do and try not to do that one thing. If you have an SO that you trust you can ask them to help.

I am exactly the person I want to be.

I think if you really take some time and you look around and see how people truly are, you might want to stop being someone else and start being proud of being you.

most people have an inferiority complex, or low self esteem.. we're RAISED to have low self esteems, so that we dont feel we're special, and in turn do what we're told.. its fucking ridiculous

anywho.. umm.. i dont know how i feel about myself.. I like my personality to a certain extent, but if i could change certain things about the way i look than i would do it in an instant. not that i hate myself or anything

Hehe, Buck. Don't hate yourself, Penguin,...look around! Everybody's fucked up in some way. Instead of feeling bad all of the time, turn it into something else, vent some way and get on with it.

Tomorrow I turn DOUBLE your age, Penguin. The best advice I can give you, is that someday you'll regret all of the time you spent feeling low when you could've been feeding artistic energies with pissed off rage or sadness. Look at some of the ppl in bands...do you think those jackasses feel good about themselves? Hell yeah, now they do! Cuz they wrote down all of their thoughts, put it to music, and now we're listening to it.

These are just my ideas. You could settle to be a regular unhappy person who works in a gas station or something,too, it's really your choice on what direction you go.

i look at myself and take the things i dont like and try to improve.. and i embrace the things i do like. there are a lot of times when i do feel shitty about myself but i try to keep an overall not too harsh view.. just because that makes for a sucky outlook on other things as well.

Well, I need to do something aboot my ass, its getting hard to find comfy pants. Other than that, I think I'm doing OK. Just chop off the butt, and I will be perfectly content with my own persona...and isn't that what life should be like?

You should start up a winter running schedule. I'm fixin on running 3 times a week in the woods out back. I'm definately gonna have to start ouy eeeaaasssyyy though, ha! Can't wait to run through a good couple inches of snow :)

Dont worry man... evryone feels like shit sometimes... Me, there have been several times when i realized (tho its not true) That i was just a bystander... A person in the world but just to watch everyone else have fun and fall in love and stuff... And i wasn't supposed to do any of those, i couldn't... It's like i was someone's guardian angel and the only thing i could do was help them... But i now realize thats just crazy talk as i look down at the face of my climaxing girlfriend...
