i hear people saying omg it fucks you up so watch out! when they are talking about say a bong.. how can it fuck you up more than a joint or a bowl? as long as your smoking the same amount of herb...
do certain pieces give you more thc intake? i heard a bong gives the most thc, then a bowl, then a joint.
whats the best way to get the highest out of your weed? any info will be great.
with bongs u can get more smoke in ur lungs in a quick amount of time?
iono...they both get me high the same. i use much less weed with bongs, so i go with bongs.
exactly, you get more smoke in your lungs b/c its not as harsh, but your still burning the same amount of weed. now if someone said you get more thc when you smoke out of a bong then i would say ok. b/c people are like my piece is bad ass it fucks you up.. how can it fuck you up? you smoke a gram from "your piece" or you smoke a gram out of a bowl.. either way your smoking a gram so i dont see how it "fucks you up" i mean if you get more thc out of a bong then ok, ill believe you
i dont think u can get more thc out of a bong.
some of it actually gets trapped in the filtration process going through water.
the only difference i believe is like u said its easier to toke, and u can get bigger hits i guess.

depends on what you consider being "really high"... do you mean "im so high only after a few hits" or "holy shit i've smoked so much im so high"... i'd say everything is the same as long as you push yourself...
None of them give any extra THC... that doesn't make sense. The fact with bongs is that you take in more smoke per hit. This means that more THC is flooding into your system at a given time. Smaller hits builds it up slower. If you took the equivalent amount of hits in a pipe as you would in one hit in a bong, you'd be just as high. Bongs just get you high faster. Also, the water does filter out some other shit, so the high isn't as "dirty" usually.Quote:

Personally though, joints/blunts always take me higher than pipes. It might be a placebo, who knows :). It is proven that joints/blunts waste a lot more smoke than smoking bowls do. But there was one time I took hits from a gravity bong, and that was the clearest and highest I've EVER been. It was such a clean high, but I was fucked up like mad. I only needed to take 3 huge ass hits, which would probably be the equivalent of smoking a good sized bowl. Also, "gravity" bongs PUSH the smoke deeper into your lungs (when you press down on the bottle and inhale, the pressure makes it go deeper), where it's absorbed more efficiently, I believe.

I can inhale deeper and for longer amounts of time with a bong. I use hot water in a bong. I don't know why, I love hot water bongin'...its kinda theraputic. I use bongs mostly because it's less harsh on my lungs...
Water insoluble doesn't mean complete insolubility, only really low solubility.

also, if the THC cools and is no longer in gas form, it can stick to the water particles, and be lost in the bong water.
ive never drank bong water, so i'm not sure if thc is water soluble.
but im sure some of it gets trapped.
well i have herd that when you smoke a joint alot of THC is wasted when it is burning, this could explain the larger 'high' when smoking with a bong, but the thing is the bong is still buring it?

Ima definitely say a nice 4 ft glass bong with ice catch will get me 10 times more ripped then a joint any day. Even though I would only get 2-3 bowls it still somehow gets me more ripped.
IMHO Bongs are the only devise (and a few large GB's) that gives you the feeling of what me and my friends can only describe as 'creeping'. Its when you take a massive bong rip out of said bong or similar and you feel nothing for 5-7 sec then all the sudden you get this strange feeling in your lungs like they are filled with water swirling around then your eyes water and finally you exhale and 30 sec later you feal the niiiiiiiiiiiiiice head rush.
i find that with joints, pipes and blunts the smoke comes off really hot. Not being able to inhale it all at once dilutes the smoke in your lungs as you have to take smaller spaced out hits to fill your (or at least my) lungs. With a bong i find it easy, less harsh - that way i can take the smoke deeper into my lungs quicker then joints, pipes, and blunts. Also im putting this on record - i smoke less in a bong and get higher, when i smoke a joint or blunt it has to be above .5, with a bong its .2 - .4 everytime.

thats funny, i do the exact opposite. i like having ice in my bong water, it condenses the smoke and makes it very smooth. then it feels like it starts expanding in my lungs and it usually makes me cough like a madman.Quote:

When I was the highest I've ever been, I had smoked a small amount from a homemade waterfall. I made it out of an Aquafina bottle. It was one liter. OMG, I was so far gone. I made a post about it a while back. I was totally trippin' and gone from reality. It was bad ass. Haven't been quite that high since then. I've gotten really stoned from joints, bongs, small glass pipes, and homemade tin foil pipes so I can't really say which one of those works best. I think I like my bong the best. But I pretty much just enjoy smoking.
OH! I forgot, I got a really heavy, long (most of the day, from like noon till 6ish) high from this thing my older friend (42, she's old school!) showed me. First, she put a pretty big glass mug into the freezer for a while. Then she rolled up a joint. Then she found a squeeze bottle (like a ketchup bottle or something) and put the lit joint in the lid. She took the mug out of the freezer and then squeezed the bottle over the mug. All the smoke shot into the cup. Because the cup was cold, the smoke stayed in the bottom of the glass. Well, to hit it, you basically look like you're drinking the smoke. It looks freaking bad ass. I didn't think it was gonna work. When I exhaled, there was nothing to be seen. Well, I was wrong, I was totally fucking stoned. It was totally awesome. It didn't even seem like I had done anything to get high. I think it'd be good to try if you're sick or something. It was awesome, I have yet to try it again.
this isn't that complicated; when you smoke a spliff look at all the smoke just going off into the air. you're not getting that in your lungs, you're loosing it

Thc is a lipid and has a very low solublity, the reason you get "higher" when you smoke a bong or bubbler is because the water filtrates alot of the other chemicals out of the smoke. Ever notice how you tend to exhale alot less smoke when you smoke a bong? Your lungs can only absorb so much at one time, so when you smoke a pipe or bowl your lungs are essentially absorbing chemicals other than thc and you end up exhaling alot more thc than you would otherwise. :thumbsup:
