First Time Flowering (w/ frequent photo updates)

Well, I'm 16 days into my first flowering and decided I need a thread to post my pictures and to keep you guys updated so you can hopefully catch my rookie mistakes.

So far I've identified four females (1 Ice, 2 Bubblicious, 2 Cali Orange). It seems like almost all the other plants are starting to show preflowers, but it's still too early for me to determine sex.

The first two pictures are of male suspects, second two are 2 of my females and last is just an overview of the grow.

Let me know what you guys think and whether or not you can say either of those plants are definitely male. Thanks!

Thanks Mulletman. The third and fourth pictures are of females, but the first two look female to you also? That's good to hear.

Today is the 17th day they've been under a 1000w HPS, before that I had a 1000w MH for them. The daytime temps are in the 70's and low 80's right now. Not sure on the night time temps since I can't get to my grow without shining lots of light on them.

Well, I think I've finally found some males. At least I'm hoping these are male so I can kill them and make room for the females to get lots of light and fatten up :jointsmile:

I took some pictures of three plants that I'm pretty sure are male, but since I've never actually seen a male before, I was hoping for some confirmation.

I'm now down to 12 plants with 7 females, 1 female suspect, 1 male suspect, and 3 still completely unknown. Don't really have anything new to report, but here are some pictures from yesterday for anyone interested.

I've now killed all the males and laggards and am left with 8 healthy females: 3 Bubblicious, 2 Ice, 2 California Orange, and 1 Sour Diesel. Today is the 31st day since I switched the lighting to 12/12 and they seem to be really starting to grow some bud. Next watering I'm gonna start adding some molasses to the water and completely cut out the floragrow from the nute mix (advanced hydroponics). Here are some pictures I took yesterday. Colors a little off from the HPS, but you get the picture :thumbsup:

I'm 5 weeks + 1 day from switching to 12/12, so I'd say I still have another 3 or 4 weeks left. Buds are finally starting to show some crystals on them and I picked up a pocket microscope at radioshack. It's lowest setting is 60x, but it's the best I was able to find so it'll have to do.

It's starting to feel like spring here, so temps are starting to be an issue. I've got four fans going right now. A big box fan blowing along the top of the canopy, a window fan blowing upward directly at the light, an oscillating fan blowing at the under growth, and an oscillating fan blowing out of the room.

It's been 39 days since the lights were switched to 12/12 and all seems to be looking good. Temps are a little high, but it's supposed to cool down again starting tomorrow, so I should be okay. Hopefully it'll stay cool until harvest. First two pictures are bubblicious, third is sour diesel, and the last two are another bubblicious. Only 2.5-3.5 weeks left :rasta:
