Here We Try Again
After a sad attempt at Hydro. we thought we try soil and it seems to be working good and r in our 5th week and just put them under 12 / 12 to flower. We r using a 400 watt h.p.s. for flowering.
We r using our favorite soil at this time. M.G. with fert. added for a 3 month grow. Before the flowering stage we did add some 3 step liquid Fert.s for a little kick and it did seem to work. Water once a week as needed and hope for some good results.
Jamie
If all goes well with this grow , we hope to get another light and expand the grow back to hydro and do 24 plants as we r now recleaning all of our hydro. supplies. We r using a unused bathroom at this time and will take out toilet and lay wood on floor for more space for rubbermaid tubs for hydro setup. We have been reading up more and more on hydro and seem to find where we messed up at and will retry after this grow at hydro.

Best if luck widchick hope you have better luck this time around theae will take of during flower. What type light did you use for veg. br safe the postman.

Here We Try Again
using 3 Compact Fluorescent Lights and keep them on the plants for around 1 1/2 weeks and then switched over to the 400 watt m/h light for
2 1/2 weeks and just put them under the 400 watt h.p.s. light to flower.
Jamie
We think in the future we will start them out using Compact Fluorescent Lights as they seem to love them and we got a better grow with them as we keep them close to the plants and they seem to spread better and just looked a lot better then using the m/h in the beginning.

they look healthy enough get ready for them taking of during flower.I myself use both fluro tubes and mh for veg and imo some strains prefer the fluros to the mh dont no why this is .i use the fluro tubes for clones and seedlings now.anyway best of luck with this grow i know the probs that occur with hydro lol been going through some myself i will be sure to check in on ur thread to watch ur progress . be safe and best of luck the postman.

Wild, have you been to that hydro store in Laurel ? If so, do they maintain a good stock of nutes (GH), and general growing supplies ? Dont need lights or dro equipment or stuff like that.
Forever green,

Yea we went there one day and it was kinda cool, but the owner is a real Pr#$@#$K and we left, hell we felt like we was criminals in there and did not belong. Or it was the fact he never seen two chicks come in there to buy things, so we left and never went back and just order off-line or there is another store in Pasadena that we go to at times and a Chick owns it , so it is kinda cool and we can relate on the woman's level.

under the H.P.S. Makes on the plants.. and to believe we r doing nothing special to them, not testing water, not ph. or nothing and we even went as far as adding gh food. to them during veg. once and just added gh. for blooming to them and they r in M.G. with food for 3 months too. So when they say it can't be done like this , here is the proof it can be with a little LOVE.
Jamie.
F.Y.I. These r two different type of plants as u may noticed?? what we do not know ??? LOL...

Sharp looking plants there Miss, but you say you are on your 5th week? You say no testing of soil or water eh, that can stunt the plants in my opinion. I too was gonna switch to the hydro but it is almost none laborous in soil for me, I just add the water(nutes) when needed. I have learned alot off this site and there is alot of knowledge floating around here.
I hope you get atleast 2 females!!!look at my plants at 8 days:

These pictures are 6 days after the above pictures and they appear to be taking off like rockets , as I said before they r of two different strains as u can see by the pictures. Today we fed them with 3 part g/h for blooming and will see how it takes to that.
Some say we should be p/h 'n our water for feeding in soil, WHAT p.h. level is good for soil feeding we r sure it is different from hydro p.h. levels.
Jamie
p.s. we have noticed female hairs on all of them at this time and will be watching to see what happens

Lookin really good wild chick. Have heard of people having all the success with miracle grow and the like. I grow in soil also and hey never really mess with my ph, used to check it and adjust a bit, finally decided its good enough. Try to leave the water out overnight if I can, heard it helps dont know why or what but thats what I've been doing and plants seem to drink it up. Are you still on a veg lighting schedule or what, any ideas when your gonna 12/12. Grown from seed right, thought about taking a clone of each before she goes into flower, maybe could find a good mother for your next hydro grow. Kinda wish I did but just didnt have the room for the shit. Peace and Good luck, mulletman.

Just when we thought we had all females too, two males showed 100 % males signs and we cut them up ... here is pictures of our last two plants and was wanting to know if anyone can tell anything on these two yet... these r the two from the same strain and the other strain was both males...
Jamie
Also if these r females, is it safe to revert back to VEG. stage to take clones from them , they r in about 10 days of flowering now. SICK of seeds.....and wanna try cloning at this point....can't lose nothing more than what we lost to this point.

Dont quote me on this wildchick, but think you can have success taking clones this early in the game. Think it would be a little stressful and time consuming to revert em back to veg now, but probably could if you wanted to. Good Luck. Mulletman.
