I got my license a couple of months ago and I was just wondering if anyone else high rides. I mean I know a couple of kids that do but not that many. Incase you were wondering, high riding is either hotboxing your car while driving around or putting the windows down a little bit and blazing...either way it's sickles...so how about you guys?
No, I don't because I share the car with my dad.
I prefer not to smoke in a car, because I get paranoid, because I'm not the one driving, and I am paranoid that they will do something stupid and I'll have to deal with cops, and get in trouble for something as trivial as inhaling burning plant flowers. 99% of the time I smoke in a secure place, so when I have to smoke in a car (on a highway or around town or in a city) I am only able to relax once the joint or bowl or whatever is put out, and the car is aired out. If it's on a country road, or a nice long drive, or late at night with not many cars around, then hell yeah, I love going on high rides (we call them roadies here).
me too...well I have 3 cars but I'm the only kid but I mean if you put the windows down 4-6 inches then you'll be fine cause the smoke just goes right out and after you're done just put the windows down to air it out
oh ok...haha yeah I live in a Suburb outside of Pittsburgh but there's a lot of farms and shit here which means country roads and back roads so it's really easy
But, what makes me paranoid, is if the windows are down, I fear that someone who is anti-drug or something will smell it, and report it. This only bothers me, if you're at a multi lane stop light, while smoking a joint, or at an intersection, with people walking on the sidewalk. To make matters worse, if the windows are closed, and we're smoking "in public" (while still driving) if we get pulled over, when the windows roll down, clouds of smoke will escape, and it will obviously smell. So, it's kind of a catch 22 situation, if you're a paranoid person.
But like I said, if I know it's a safe road, or at night with little traffic, etc... then I love smoking in a car.
the back roads i always thought were ok to toke on, i live in northcentral PA and we have plenty of dirt roads that lead to nowhere....i used to do that a lot. good times in the summer, roll the windows down, turn up the music and cruise, but then again that was back when gas was like .80 cents a gallon.

I live in the mid-west so there are a lot of country roads as well, but, it's when I'm in a large city, and with people who think nothing of lighting up a joint with the windows down, while driving slow around the huge city. That's what freaks me out. Especially this one time, the driver saw someone he knew, and pulled right next to a school. There were kids everywhere playing outside because it was the weekend and it was some daycare. If we would have gotten caught, I believe the penalty would be greater since you are on school grounds or something.
I just took out my convertible tonight which was super convene.

the other night i was with 3 friends and we wanted to smoke so my one friend went and got his cady and we toked out of this ghetto water bottle bong. lol. it was so fun ridin around in it. then my one friend starts freakin out beacuase a song comes on about cadillacs so he's trying to get my other friend to hear the lyrics but he was just out there. haha, that was so much fun.
in my opinion its gonna be a showdown between the pens and the sabres in the finals, and then the winner of that is gonna go on to fuck up whoever makes it into the cup finals from the west.

Usually if my friends and I have nothing to do at night we'll roll a blunt and hit the highway. Its awesome riding around with the music on.
yeah me and my friends usually do smoke in one of our cars and just burn cruise. haha unless we have a legit place to go..then we go smoke there

I'm sure I will at least once, but for now I just put the window down a bit.
every day on average for at least 2-4 hours we spend driving and smoking, gonna be less now that its warm out tho so we will have places to go sometimes
Are you kidding I rarely smoke outside the car and thats because there is no car or were waiting for pizza. Seriously thats wierd i thougt most people did it most of the time in the car . shit im BLITZED!

I actually love driving high if I'm out on country roads or something, just make sure all your lights work and drive the speed limit, no problems!
I hotboxed my car with a few mates b4 a school excursion, drove out of this street, lets the windows down to make a smoke trail, looked left n seen half the year staring at us........that was funny/fucked :stoned:
windows up or down and music loud as hell. Though i learned how to drive while high so sober drivings the hard thing for me i always end up speeding and tailgating and brake checking.
I won't ever tell anyone not to smoke in their car. I do all the time. Its a hell of alot safer than drunk.
HOWEVER. As a motorcycle rider, I see alot of shitty drivers and have learned to almost drive for them. I watch and anticipate. I don't think I will ever be in a motorcycle accident because I am so careful....but at the same time....I know girls who drive their their titty and talk on the phone constantly in Tahoes and suburbans.
When smoking and driving....PLEASE look out for me on my motorcycle because I will be *really* sad if you kill me.

umm they may be cracking down on drugs, I don't really know...see where I live it's different though, cause it's a Suburb but it's the country at the same time...I'm only an hour outside of the city, but to get to my high school I pass 5 farms, I dunno it's a pretty unique place....my only problem while high riding is just dozing off and not paying attention, but I usually have someone with me so they help me
I do mean drivng and with the windows up. Why would you smoke in in and not be driving? Also whats the point of smoking in a car when the windows are down doesnt that defeat the purpose?Quote:

lol earlier this week i was smokin in my friends car with some buds (friends not weed) and we were stuck at a stoplight. we looked over and saw a cop car and freaked the fuck out. then we noticed it was just some no-namer security car that couldnt do shit if he knew what was goin on so we freely kept on smoking with him next to us haha. High rides are fun as hell.
what pass the chicken said is probably very true. last week when i was high ridin shotgun, i was on the phone leavin a message tryin to tell my friend what we wanted from taco bell but i could not stop fucking laughing. good times.
just gotta watch those pesky roadblocks and worst of all soboriety check points complete with a parking lot and school busers to ttake people to jail~ sux. jail for warrants and DWI/DUI of course, but you can get a possession citation real quick if you are blazing, and they are always at some random church h way out somewhere. fuckin churchgoers.. damn cops damn drunks causing the fuckin roadblocks in the first place
