tell about some messed up outdoors moments

this one time my son and i went on a lil camp out
it was a cold november night and we had our tent up
and we were cooking some carne asada.
i guess the bears in the area got a wiff of my bbq
and they decided to join us
i had never been jacked by a bear so i had no idea
just how quiet these animals are.
i had turned my back for a few seconds to get some more fire wood
when from out of nowhere came a black bear
with lightening speed he grabbed the ice chest and ran off with it
it was heavy.it was full of ice and soda and beer and food
i couldnt believe it
my son started to hyper ventilate i could hear him breathing hard
i had to see the bear again so i followed the dirt trail into the brush

a few yards away i seen the back of the lil fat bear.he wasnt that lil
i could hear him snorting and clawing and he was eating a bud light can
i threw a handful of dirt in the bears direction but all that happened
was my son started crying cuz he didnt want to die haha

since there was no more beer or food we had to drive home
to top it off on the way out i seen a ranger and told him what happened
i was expecting some sympathy but instead a got a citation
he said i was responsible for what the bear did

that's way more fucked up than any of my camping stories...
except for the one that my parents tell me about a camping trip they took me and my cousin on when we were only like 2... the campsite got raided by bears on that trip too.
As fo rmy own stories, hm, last summer I flipped the canoe I was in with half of our equipment, just a fiberglass 8 foot solo, going through whitewater totally overloaded, but it was the last day of the trip anyway so meh. it was kind of refreshing considering how fucking HOT out it was that day.
And all the times my campsite has been visited by SKUNKS... never had a problem with the little scamps themselves, they are super cute, but once I was down on Cape Cod with one of my girlfriends and she practically had a coronary, she was so afraid of the thing. I was like, damn girl, you need to chill out! You're going to scare it into spraying you! And she shut up and just sat there and quivered until a half hour after it had waddled off into the woods. I dunno, I still want one for a pet!

last summer me and my friend camped out in my backyard and were tokin up an shit and we heard cyotes howling at the full moon not 500 feet away in the woods. to top it off, my horses somehow got loose and were running all around freaking out. I ended up having to wake my parents up at 2 in the morning to get them to get the horses back in.

A buddy of mine fell off a huge rock and broke his arm while we were rock climbing once...it sucked we had to help him get back down since he couldn't move his arm. We never made it up that mountain that day but I went back the next day and conquered that shit! :thumbsup:

I hate when mountains beat me.

no more hikeing 4 me..4 along time...
on may 15th me and some friend's went spelunking up near round mountain ca.
as i was entering a small cave a rattler struck out at me
well he missed but i fell 18ft down a cavern
it almost killed me
i just got out of the hospital yesterday may 29th
i was air lifted out and had 2 have imediate surgery on my left leg
i now have an almost complete metal leg
a total knee replacement and a metal plate replace's my shin
i broke 3 rib's and in trun punchered my rt lung
plus i knocked out almost half me teeth
all over a fucking rattlesnake
now i will say oweeee
it will b month's b 4 i can even think of hikeing
now that was a fucked up trip

Two days ago John and I came home and we had these bottle rockets and other fireworks. So we grab Lloyd from down the road and lit them at each other. Then we decided to build a mini bon fire and it got HUGE and I seriously thought we were gonna cath the woods on fire haha. But ive never laughed so hard at those two in a long time.

Damn Momma..sorry to hear about your accident...those friggin rattelsnakes do cause a lot of trouble. LOL I am glad you are back home..just need to chill...drink lots of water and get better......That was a fucked up trip!

i dont really know what i thought at the time
but i do remember thinking this was it
when i hit the bottom i was out cold
my boyfriend and another guy that was with us didnt know what 2 do except call 4 help
as far as the ride i missed it also
i didnt know anything till 2 day's later
i still hurt alot
i started therapy 2 day ,it just seemed 2 make me hurt worse
but the guy said no pain no gain
i still have 2 have some dental surgery
i will loose all my top teeth(except 4 the molars)
but they will b pulled also, and the 2 front teeth on the bottom
i will still go hikeing and camping when i get better

I was just thinking about you the other day before you posted...must of been some trippy shit you went thru...I one time was unconsious for 2 days..and almost died..and it changed my whole perspective on everything...I miss you momma and love you too. Take care.:)
