don't smoke till its all gone this time? like just stop yourself when your high, or you can vape your weed and then cook with it afterwards, other than that theres no real method to make it last

takes self control. If you are that much of a pothead where you smoke all day, try to keep each session 4 hours apart.
The best thing you can do is not smoke until night. But then you have to keep yourself from smokin all night.
vapor brothers vaporizers are great for conservation.

Make one with a lightbulb or buy a cheap 100-200 or a nice 400-600 vape. Umm you can also just smoke a little a day to get mildly high or take a break so next time you smoke youll get really high. 1 week is just a right range for a nice break. Plus you save up your money and can buy more

don't make spliffs use bongs, and when you use a bong use a really small bowl
To conserve weed and get the most out of it, use a one hitter pipe, or bat. I used one all through college, and tokin everyday, I was making an 1/8 last me 10 days.
Use a gravity/bucket bong too. Do a search on simple instructions on how to make one. It's super easy and gets you crazy baked with small amounts of weed.
Hot knives/blades are another way to conserve your herb too. Again, do a search on how to do them. All it takes is 2 butter knives, a blowtorch, and some weed.
It's all self control too. Smoke just enough to get high. Moderation is key.
I smoke every night and I make an 1/8 last a week, half ounces usually 30-40 days or so. I don't smoke before work. I only smoke when all my work is done for the day. Then I kick back and spark one up. I get up 8am, eat breakfast, and I'm out the door by 9am to do my biking. I'm at work by noon, and I'm usually done by 4pm, then I go out for a few more hours to ride my bike some more. I eat supper at about 6pm, then after I'm done the dishes and all, I smoke up at about 7pm.
I only have 2-3 small bowls a day.
Not only am I not a burn out, I save big money on buying, and homegrown yeilds last forever. My weed lasts forever too.
So it's all about moderation and self control.
Don't you go to school or work? If you do, do the work first, then toke. Having a toke to get through the day is clearly a habit and not healthy (unless you're a med. user).
So smoke when the day is done and work and errands are all done, and smoke in smaller portions. :)

when i ded work (just got sacked recently)
i used get up roll a joint to smoke on the way to work which started at 8am
roll a joint at my teabreak at 10am smoke that then one again at lunch at 12 noon, then one mid afternoon, finish work at 4.30pm go home, roll an extra fat joint and then smoke as i feel as the evening progresses, followed nby a big fat joint before bed or a couple of pipes or a bong,
my colleauges used to get on at me for smoking at work cause i was a mechanic and was putting peoples lifes in danger working on cars when i was high but i worked better

If it were me, I'd go a few days w/o smokin and then just smoke in the evening. Bong it. Take 2 big hits and then wait 10 mins or so between each hit after that and stop when you feel good.
i used to be that way, then i ran out of money and smoked resin and got addicted to cigs....then i found a woman and we both stopped for as long as we could. here and now ive smoked once in the past 2 weeks, got more money and getting some green tommorow.....god i love her:4: :4: :1baa:
i usually have 1-2 bowl packs a night... if i smoke during the day, its not my herb :)

Sorry if that sounds mean, but I know a lot of people who don't work and just live off their parents or their friends or their girlfriends or etc. and it really bothers me. You very well may not be like that, so this may be unwarranted, but its how I feel if you are.
It's all about the pinch hitter. They are small and portable, great for the road.

When I was young, I would go through a 1/4 oz every 2-3 days. Now that I'm older, and a bit wiser, a 1/4oz lasts me 3-4 WEEKS, depending on how good it is, and I smoke EVERY DAY! I get really high, too.
