weed being an appetite suppresant?

first, i didn't know whether to put this in medical or lounge... so i put it here since it'll get the most attention.

anyone else have this little ability? i've been smoking so long, and learning to fight off munchies i can actually do it now without even thinking about being hungry again... like i tell my brain to tell my stomach it's not getting any food and it quits bitching... lol

anyone else have that?

but i can also eat... generally i don't eat very well... have troubles eating.. when i smoke, i can eat without wanting to puke...

I feel anorexics should be prescribed weed, for it will open their minds and let them see the inner beauty that they all hold and possess, and stop starving themselves to please others when they know they possess this.. so they can feel the pleasure of life, of being, of existing, breathing in oxygen would be a great pleasure. Weed is the plant of life I feel..it's more than a "MIND ALTERING PSYCHO ACTIVE SUBSTANCE" to me. Ugh, don't you hate GOVERNMENT TERMS? Weed suppresses my apetite in the sense that when I dont have it, I have no apetite (withdrawl)

^^very true..and I hate it. I hate going to the kitchen just perusing through the fridge and cabinets and say "Nah.. I'm not really HUNGRY" when I haven't had anything to eat all day and it's freakin 8:00 PM.

that ain't what i was asking.. and yes i know it's a appetite inducer, but was wondering if anyone else could basicly use it as an appetite suppresant like i do....

I can use it that way! I use it to help me eat too. A lot of times after I eat I feel like puking, or even before I eat. Just thinking aabout food makes me sick sometimes. Weed helps me eat and can help me forget about how much my stomach is hurting.

I think other people have this problem too. I dunno why I get so sick thinking about/eating food.Off topic but slip you get any bud lately?

I couldn't use it as an appetite suppressant as such, but I could manage to will myself not to give into the induced appetite if I wanted to. I rarely did. I like to eat.

I've posted this before. I don't ever get the munchies. Ever.
Sometimes I will come home on my lunchbreak, and smoke and actually forget to eat. I will get back to work and be like "damn" I was gonna eat, but I forgot.. I basically only eat 1 or 2 times a day. Since I started smoking daily, the appetite is very predictable and weed only suppresses.

wow, I don't have that kinda willpower. I always get the munchies but I hate piggin out so sugar free pudding cups are my friend. yeah, i ate two of them, so what?

wow i get the munchies baddddddddd! Like I end up stuffing myself so full it hurts!

yeah, you may be able to fight off the munchies but if you do something that really supresses your appetite youll know. like where you arent even feeling it any more but you arent hungry twelve hours later and it just clicks hey i havent thought about eating in twelve hours
