Well, I got this today for $45. The person said I was getting a deal because I was buying so much. ( I go 3rd person ). Anyways, when I get it, its really small, now its no bigger than a quarter. It does weigh 2.8g though, is that normal? Or can they do something to make it way more? Also, does that mean it will burn slower?

Yeah shit doesn't look to dank to me. looks like a nick or possibly a dime should be worth 10-15 usually, Smoke it and tell us how the high is.
Also to make it slower use a pipe.
$45 is typically the price for an 1/8, which means it is "one, eighth, of 28 grams", so it should weigh 3.5grams. Is that with or without the weight of the bag?
The bud alone, out of the bag, should weigh 3.5g's. :)
Another thing, it looks like it is already busted up. Avoid buying cannabis pre-ground up as it doesn't give you a good view of how good the quality is, the cannabis could be "Kiff'ed", that means someone could have shook off the trichs, making the cannabis less potent. They could also grind up other green, leafy materials, like spices, and add to it.
So yes, for $45, for 2.8g's, you got ripped off. For that price, judging by your flag you're in the States, you should have gotten at least some high mid quality bud, at 3.5g's.
Find a new dealer.
Looks like shake. You can get some dank quality buds here in LA for 20 a gram. You can get chronic, which is ussually a sativa dominant high quality mid, for 15 or 10 a gram. So if you live in LA you didn't RALLY get ripped off if it's dank, but still, DO NOT buy shake.
