Hello,
My friend wants to move out to California to be a teacher. The problem is he smokes pot for his depression so he wanted me to ask on here if there are any medical using teachers or if anyone knows if teachers in Cali get drug tested. I know in Texas and Arkansas they don't.

in the Torrance unified district in southern Cali they don't test.
my mom works for the district, and a family friend of ours also works in the district. i remember him saying "thank god they don't drug test, otherwise i'd be out of a job!"

la unified doesn't test either, thank god and utla.:D
a friend works for SDCS, san diego city schools and they are drug test free.

No testing for substitute teacher in Orange County. Good luck
