Ok I had no idea where to post this, but this animal is really cool and I had to share it. It's called a star-nosed mole and it has 10x as many nerves in its nose as we have in our entire hand.

This is the first time I've heard of it so hopefully it's new to some of you as well. Nature is just awesome sometimes.

lol i think it looks cool man, not sure i'd want a little pink star on the end of my nose but i guess his one serves a good purpose...
its crazy how he can sense prey, double check it, and eat it in a fifth of a second... cool little thing, i want one 4 my garden :)

very, very carefully I guess eh?! of course with bad ass claws like that you could probably get other animals to do your bidding, nose picking included.
hahaha yeh, it should be called the kruger mole, its got big-ass claws, and a screwed up pink face...
