I just wanted to tell all of you....

Just how honored I feel about your "unofficial" nomination to be a mod. It is right up there with "I wish you were my Mom!" (which I have heard all too many times! :( ). Thank you so much, stinkyattic, liberiamom, 420izzle, Pipe Dreams, Reefer Rogue, RyanTheCaveman (Ryan-yes, I am, solitary, eclectic, green/kitchen- Quan Yin, Ma'at and Gaia for the most part, with Brigid popping in now and then and the Ganja Goddess, of course- think that 'bout covers it), and anyone else who didn't get in before the thread was locked, but wanted to comment. Surrey's Princess says there are no job openings right now, and that's OK- I'll still be your Ganja Granny! ;) It was SO unexpected! You folks have totally blown my mind (to use an old hippie phrase). What can I say, but Thank You So Very Much. :D I now know how actors feel when they get an Oscar!:D I love you all! - Granny (who floats off, smiling, in a cloud of ganja smoke) :stoned:

i closed the thread because there was nothing more to say i felt..not to prevent people from making comments...we get these "nomination" posts often as most members arent really sure how the mod process works..it was not meant as an insult or anything to that effect..just to make it clear so it is understood and noone thinks anything negative, when we need new mods here, the mod team will get together and together discuss who we think would be a productive and positive member to the team and then give our suggestions to sundance, or sundance can choose without us...i just wanted to clear this up because it seems the thread was closed and answered and it was continued over on this board....

I really love your mythical references- I teach World Mythology and I wish more people kept the goddess study alive! I'm very Demeter these days, though I have my Durga moments!
