Cool Tube?

Where can i get a cooltube for my 400 watt bulb? and how do i install it?

if you have a little imagination you can make one for under $40.

i have a 400w HPS and a 400w MH... I have temperature probs (too high) so would I be better off to invest in two cooltubes or just buy a stronger fan? the fan i have now cost $55 and doesnt do too much

cooltubes and use your 55.00 fan to cool them

sounds good- might attempt to make them but not sure. cooltubes are probably a better investment then a fan anyways, cause they last forever, right?

hurricane and vortex fans will prob last a lifetime too .. they come w/ a 5 yr. residental or industrial use warranty . 24 hrs. a day for 5 yrs straight , if they fail they will fix or replace at their discretion . but w/ a cooltube you can run your 400w lights w/ in inches of your plants w/o harm .

Anyone own a cool tube? Is the tubing glass or plexiglass? Glass doesn't contain heat well, and I'm thinking of wrapping some 3mm plexiglass (which contains the heat nicely) and an exhaust around a 250HPS I have, which I currently can't combine with my 400HPS because of heat.
Any ideas?

glass or rather pyrex = damn tuff glass,
no doesnt even get the chance to build up heat . i have 2 w/ 1000's in them inline w/ 1200 cfm per min. flyn thru em you can lay your hands on the tube n not get burned .
