Unbreakable glass

My bowl is supposedly made of "unbreakable glass". The owner of the shop I bought it from threw it across the room before I bought it to prove it to me. It doesn't crack or anything if you drop it on a hard floor but I would like to know how far the strength of the glass goes. Has anyone ever broken an "unbreakable" glass piece? I'd like to know the threshold for this type of glass.

buy another one, and drive over one of them with ur truck...or get on ur roof and throw it across the street.

Just be thankful that it doesn't break when you accidently knock it or drop it. If you want to break it hit it with a hammer.

Is it actual glass or acrylic?

It is true the place I bought mine from did the same but he threw it into a cement wall. Its just really thick glass. Don't drop it often it will break if you drop it a lot. Once doesn't hurt it but more will weaken the glass.

So called unbreakable glass is called "Pyrex" and it can withstand considerably more shock than regular glass, but like everything else, apply enough force and it will meet its failure threshold.

so how strong would an inside out pyrex pipe be? lol... i think it would just be ridiculously strong...
