has anyone else heard that before? that weed was just a gateway drug? every person i talk to who downs weed brings up the fact that weed always leads to worse drug use.
do you agree/disagree?
personally, i disagree. i know a lot of potheads who have been smoking for years upon years and dont use worse things. im 100% satisfied with MJ, why would i need anything else?
weed isnt the gateway, youre the gateway.. if you smoke weed and dont wanna do any other drugs, then nothin and nobody is gonna make you.. if you give in and do other drugs tis your fault.. just because u smoked weed before u used herion doesnt mean youll do herion after you smoked.. if thats the case, then coffee, chocolate, aspirin, damn even apples and oranges are gateway drugs, because im sure every herion addict has tried all of them before he/she got on to herion

another one of their arguments is that weed stops getting you high.. and you look for other ways to get that same high back.
for the long time smokers, how have you kept your immunities to weed down?

umm i dunno if im classed as a long term smoker.. i mean, im 17 and ive been smoking for nearly 5 years... so, technically, ive been smoking for about a third of my life lol... anyway, yeah ive tried other drugs, but only because i wanted to.. i still get just as high now as i always have.. actually, i get more high now than i used to coz i know how to smoke better and more affectively.. plus i used to just smoke to get fucked up, now i smoke for a whole load of other reasons.. but, anyway, where was i? oh yeah.. after 4/5 years of smoking regularly i still get as high s ever, if not more so, and ive only done other drugs because i chose to... if people blame weed for takin other drugs than theyre either ignorant, stupid or a fuckin politician
Yeah...i used to be so innocent. The i went to a party with a freind. Somebody had scored some of this krazy new drug...he called them oranges...its true what they say. The first time was amazing. After that i couldnt get enough. I began to fail school, alienate my freinds and family. I began selling my my things just to get that next fix of sweet, sweet oranges. After i got caught robbing a bank to feed my voracious addiction, they put me in rehab for 18 months. Ive been clean for 2 years.

weeds not a gateway, i agree wit ghost, but some poeple smoke weed, and there like well this high is good but i want something stronger, so they go snort a rail or something and they want bigger and badder highnext, and so the vicious trail goes on
Technically anything can be a gateway drug if you dissect it enough. Gateway Theory is just a poor excuse to convince people not to smoke marijuana.
You have home grown and weed and then ditch weed
or worst I know the older kids here and when they tell me that pot don't get them high any more, I brake out a pinner and tell them to take 2/3 hits from it. and they ask where i got it from I tell them canada, iiit is home grown, but they are on there butts. The weed we have been geting here you can't get a buzz off of. its like taking a bow of your lawn cuting and smoking it.
Ive smoked for 4 years and have only...ONLY done other drugs because i wanted to, not because smoking told me to.
