Women seem to always say they prefer a tall man. This isn't an issue for me (I'm roughly 6'), but I don't see how it really matters. The biggest Cassanova I know is 5'7", I don't see what difference it makes. I'll admit I wouldn't like a woman taller than me, but if women just want a man taller than them, I mean.....My female friend is 5'3" and she wouldn't like a 5'6" man; if she's 5'3" it doesn't matter if the guy's 5'6" or 6'5".
A person's height doesn't matter when they're on their backs. (if you know what i mean)

Er, well Im not quite sure what the question is (if any), but Ill always go for girls that are either the same height as me or just a little shorter. Dont like them more than 4" shorter than me, or I cant kiss them easily.
Right now, the girl Im with has the perfect torso/leg length for a 69 :D

My biggest advice to any guys here who are trying to 'understand' women: Stop trying to use logic. Women are not logical creatures.
I dont think women liking tall men has anything to do with dick size. Despite what so many men would like to think, the vast majority of women I know are turned off by an abnormally large dick.
I personally think it has more to do with feeling 'protected' (women like strong men) and also 'status'. Women like to brag to their gf of the month about the man they are with... What better then to have a tall, handsome, well-paid bloke to wrap legs around ;)
Anyhow, I never encountered any women where my height was an issue (I'm 5' 11" and a half LoL) but I do know that some of the women who are the most picky about height are the shorter women. I know this one chick who is 5' 3" but will NOT date a guy under 6'3". Ironically, all the tall chicks I know and been with dont mind guys that are either as tall as them or even a little shorter. I think it is a Napoleon complex for women :dance:
i agree with some... i think it has more to do with feeling like the person ur with is in control and powerful, wen i say in control i dont mean in control of them but just in general, its probably an instincts thing that was programmed in for the saftey of the female... i mean all attraction is just based on wat is best for the continuation of human (or animals as well) kind... men are attracted to the body shape of a women, ie hips, breasts, cause they see this and no that if they have these features then they can take care of the baby and give birth easily. many other things apply to this
I think Someuser had it right. Having a taller guy is about a feeling of being protected. We tend to lean toward someone who's taller than we are who can symbolically "defend" us. Everything I've read, too, indicates that there's almost an unconscious, evolutionarily driven desire to combine genes with someone who's going to father tall, strong, healthy children who'll perpetuate and even improve on our genetics. I think that comes into play, too.
My husband is 6' 4" and I'm 5' 10". We're a tall lot. Our son is 6' 3" and I'm not sure if he's finished growing or not. I think he probably has.
I could never date a woman taller then me. It feels weird for some reason. I'm 5'11" and anything my height or shorter would be ideal.

I'm about 6'4", and my wife is 5'4" - trust me, it can certainly matter given the position you choose, otherwise I wouldn't seriously be considering getting one of those sex cushions or swings...

I'm not sure how I'd feel with a mate the same height or taller than me, just because I've never tried it. All of the ladies I've had the pleasure of being with have all been drastically shorter than I, it just worked out that way - I don't have a petite chick fetish, honest! ;)
