Supercropping
In these days, when legal repricussions are dependent on how many plants you have, the best bet for the smart grower is 1 or 2 large plants vs. 6-10 small ones. By pinching off the third set of leaves when they are just coming in, you create a break that prompts your plant to split at that point. Doing this three times per stalk takes a plant that would normally yield ~.75-1 oz to a plant that can produce upwards of 5 oz. Each time you crop, you create two new stalks, each with its own 2 sub-stalks. There is actually no limit on how many times you can crop and how many stalks you can produce, just be sure to let her recoup before starting again. If you have the room for them to stretch out and the time, I HIGHly recommend this approach. It adds about a week of grow time each time you crop, but in the end, it's definately worth it.
If these posts seem unsolicited, they are. I just love talking about growing weed and sharing my amassed knowledge. I've been free and clear of any grow op for the last three years, so now I'm getting the urge to stand on my soap box and preach to the masses.

Hello,
Thanks for the good solid post. You bring up a very good point with supercropping.
It is a sad state of affairs that we all have to be so carefull with our grow ops. This info certainly does help to keep everyone safer.
Take care

good advice lone, but alot of people dont have that kind of room to grow a overly bushy plant for super cropping. and laws vary from state to state, country to country on how many plants before you get the mandatory 10 years

I like that.. but Im new to this stuff so exactly how would you crop?
Pinching you mean cutting? and three times per stalk, branch? The third set of leaves, when?
Help me out I want in.. lol

I think he means pinching the branch between your fingers until you feel it slightly break.

you need to actually pop the brand new growth off. This is what prompts your plant to split. If i can find a pic i will post again later.

Ok, but would it make since to do this early? as in only two weeks?
Or wait until the plant has some nice size fan leaves to keep her fed and sustained?
Sorry but I am really new...
THANKS

You should make your cut after your plant has grown 4 or 5 nodes. Just crop off the new growth leaving about 1/8 to 1/4" of growth above the top node. Your plant will then go into a little stress, sometimes no stress at all, for a few days and then it will start to grow two "tops" in place of the one that was growing.
I hope this helps.
