The traffic stop happened on Interstate 10 near Breaux Bridge in St. Martin Parish, La.

The Louisiana Highway Patrol said troopers smelled a strong odor of marijuana when the driver opened the door to Nelson's band bus.

Trooper Willie Williams of the Louisiana Highway Patrol said a search of the bus turned up about 1.5 pounds of marijuana and about 2/10 of a pound of mushrooms.

he got off lucky..those st. martin parish cops are bitches...i live bout 10 minutes from where he got pulled over

Unknown celeb drug users will never change how I think of them (unless it's crack or heroine or meth found or somethin like that xD). They just need to leave marijuana and marijuana users alone, seriously.

But hey, Nelsons got money so I'm not worried :D.
