What is my major malfunction?? PICS
ok guys these baby girls are about 2-2.5' tall and are placed into 5 gallon buckets. lots of holes so good drainage. this is day 5 of 12/12 and the top leaves and new growth seems spindly and weak. it is yellowing somewhat but I have heard that is normal for light shock in the first week of flowering. I use ph balanced water and nutes and check it every time. I haven't begun flowering nutes yet I was told to wait for a week of flowering and will be watering with big bloom in a couple days. can you guys give me some insight on what may be wrong?
FYI I have been having som trouble with the heat in this closet during night hours I am geeting a small portable a/c today to geep the temps right during night and day hours. I have a dehumidifier in there and keep it pretty consistant 60% during day and 50-55% during night... Could it be heat stress???
thanks all and happy growing!!

Just my unprofessional opinion ... I think too hot, and not humid enough.

how close is the light to the top of your plants?

That's plenty of humidity; my plants are in 35-40% humidity without that problem, of course I am also giving them silica.
But I want to know if you are feeding with micronutrients too, if you have a complete fert?
Zinc def/lockout can cause crinkly weird-looking new growth.

It's hard to tell from those pics and your description may need your npk and light source included.I have seen plants do this when not getting enough light....Like 20 watts per sq foot at that stage(30 being the min). You said your lights were at 5 inches so I might assume you're using flourescents which can cause this lightening of leaf color. You might have too low a ppm of nitrogen but only you'd know.Perhaps a little more info and we can help.

i use fox farm big grow and tiger bloom for flowering. thay have just completed the first week of flowering and the plants have been showing these signs for about 5 days. I will be giving them the first dose of flowering nutes next watering I use cfl's and and 200 w hps but ordered just a 600 for these plants and they should be here this week. I think they are getting plenty of light, the leaves are really thin and wrinkly which makes me think it is too hot. the humidity must play a part in there somewhere but I don't know if it's too much or too little....lights on it is 60% during night it is about 50-55% anyone else help? they are still looking bad. coloring is coming back a bit... could this be light shock from the change in light regime for flowering??

im no expert but they look to dry try spaying them with pure water from an atomizer [water sprayer ] before the lights go off so as not to scorch

actually its better to spray righ tbefor the lights come on so that the excess water will burn off. i spray mine 2 x a day when not in flower for foliar feeding.
imho get abetter fan and be done with it
