Just wanted to share a pic of my baby. It's starting to show the fifth set of nodes. It was started from seed about 3 weeks ago. Is it time to take a cutting?

Very nice looking baby.. maybe give it 1 more node and then take a cutting!
Thanks :)
Actually, the small set of leaves in the center are the 6th set, but I will wait a little longer anyway. I want to take a cutting from a side branch instead of the central leader.
ya thats a good idea, do you have any side shots to show vertical growth?/
Nice looking plant .will you only be taking the one cutting or is the planr tyo take more.the postman.
Nice healthy looking plant what are the nutes your using.
I heard it's good to wait 2 months before attempting to take a cutting. From the looks it doesnt have any young growth tips, only fan leaves so wait until it develops some branches with young growth tips protruding to take a cut for clones.
It's funny you ask. To answer your question "homemade fertilizer". I mixed just about everything I had in my shed into one bottle. I had fish emulsion, big bloom, tomato fertilizer and a fertilizer for acid loving plants that I use on my citrus trees. I wanted to make sure that I provided the plant with all the essential micronutrients and trace elements :thumbsup:Quote:

Not sure on exact age, but it's still under 4 weeks. My other one is not as big so I'm afraid this may be a male :( I will keep you posted.
