Contact lenses = hell

Omfg, I cant see right. So I'm trying to put in some contact lenses so I can see in school. Problem is I can NOT get the sonnofabitches in or out. The doctor had to take them in and out and the employee had to convince him to let me take them home to practice for 2 weeks. First week ran out and I cant fuckin get these things in!!!!! I'm now afraid to get them in cuz I know I wont get them out. What the fuck! Some one help please. Sorry I'm going mad.

lol ya i had the same problem...i never wore glasses in school cause they made me look like a nerd , an i guess u could say i was part of the in crowd...so senior in high school and i get an eye exam...seems my eyes are pretty fuckin bad...theyre like u want glasses or contacts...im like fuck the the glasses man...so i get the contacts and the 'sobs' wont go in...it takes me like 45minutes to get 1 in...and now i cant get th other in...my eyes are blopod shot and everyone thinks im high...im like fuck it...give me the glasses...and now i wear glasses...i never knew how blind i was till i started wearing em :p

Yeah same, I guess these arent just made for everyone. I just get hella pissed when I cant accomplish something though.

look its nothin, ur eyes will get used to then and u wont hurt. First 2 weeks is like hell i know but now, after 5 years waring cantacts, i can to it with no mirror and like 2secs to put each. Just dont give up on them thinkin that u might hurt ur eyes or something. No one can put em for the first time and feel nothin, its normal that u will feel weird the first month

lol its just wierd for me putting something on something as sensitive as my eyeball...i dunno the lady that gave me the contacts said it was easier for chick to put in cause they always put make up on close to the eye and stuff...or something like that ...i wasnt really listening i was being overwhelmed with the frustration tryin to put the god damn things in :p

I went through the exact same thing.
Solution: (I now wear glasses, but for other reasons, I like being able to take them off and on in an instant, less hassle, and they make me look SmarT) But anyways, for contacts, Initially, they will hurt like FUCK. You HAVE to get over that, it takes at least a full day for your eyes to feel comfortable wearing them. Also, the biggest, most important tip that the doctors seem to not be aware of: While you're putting them in, place a drop of solution inside the bowl, before you even put them in. If your eyes are dry, put some in your eyes beforehand as well.

i would rather just wear glasses because i would never be able to put those in. i hate putting shit in my eyes i cant even do eye drops

i had the same problem it would take me hours 2 put them in but after a month it would take me no longer than 5 sec. u just gotta keep practicing, youll eventually get it

keep trying, its hard at first but now I can do it blindfolded... well you get it.
