These buds are tearing up my throat

Okay, i'm smoking some really good texas fire bud and it's a great taste and high but it does a number on my throat and lungs but are pretty sore, and I've smoked bud so along time and I never got this...The buds and really fucking good and really baked but my throat really is sore and i;mn afraid i'll have to take a break, I mean I am a daily lover of the plant but this bag really pisses off my throat and lungs.

Has anyone that's smoked for a long time and are cronic users have developed probelms in health inturn made u quit for a while?

yeah my throught is getting worse and worse, but i can still talk fine, and breath fine, so whats gonna happen am i gonna get lung cancer? i dunno. it depends if you think its worth it, i personally would sacrafice that to get high.

Think about a vaporizer. Don't buy one, just think about it while you smoke, maybe if you imagine hard enough it'll help.

Seriously though, you can get a cheap one off of ebay for like 60 bucks, which is better with rougher bud.

My throat got like that a few weeks back, too. I was smoking regularly, and a little more than usual. My throat finally spoke up and told me what's goin' down. I just used a bunch of Chloraseptic and it went away after about a week. I did have to tone down the smoking a bit, but that's fine as long as my throat stops hurting.

Just wondering, what are you smoking it with? Pipe, Joint, bong? Maybe try to switch to a bubbler for a while or something that helps cool down the smoke. Take smaller hits, just take more of em.

If you got a bong, put some ice water in it and smoke with that.

As Juicyfruit said, take a throat drop before you smoke, make sure it is one that numbs your throat though, not something that just relieves pain. Also, this may be counter-intuitive, but I find that drinking cold lemonade soothes my throat really fast if I've been smoking particularily harsh weed. Try it out, may not work for everybody.

stop deep-throatin it. then, just partake in some coughdrops and also dont sing too high of notes.
