log of a lowryder grower (from seed to bud)
ya so this is going to be my 1st grow log. happens to be lowryder since you might say i'm in close courters with some peeps (my parents). I know this strain has raised many diff. opinions, so I'm gona log it.
SO....
my setup is a 45" high, 25" deep, 25" wide cabinet w/ 2 standard 125w day spectrum flo. tubes on either side facing center. They're placed vertically on either side of the pot so as it grows it get light from two sides and no adjustment is needed. covered in base white paint on inside/door w/ desk fan inside angles slightly upward.
pics of setup tomorrow, plus germination pics...
so this is where it all starts:

Good luck man, where did you get those seeds?

dope-seeds.com , if you buy seeds I'd get them from here, they somehow got from the UK to my mailbox, in the U.S. (Virginia), in 5 days and were packaged unlabeled in a brown envelope.

sorry about the wait guys, it took a little longer to germinate then i expected, about 30 hours. i'm also finally able to get some pics up  . now i have sown 2 seeds about 1/4" in my soil mixture.
the mixture is standard potting soil w/ a small amount of scotts starting ferts, and some peat moss growing medium scattered around up in there. also i put about 1/2" of gravel at the bottom of the pot for good drainage.
right now, i have the fan on for air movement (and so the little guys will grow accustom to it?...), and only 1 of the 125w flo. lights on. I'm thinking I will keep an 18/6 hour schedule from now all the through, or should i have the light on 24 hours until sprouting occurs??? i just sprayed a good dose of water on, and have plastic wrap over the pot for a good humidity/greenhouse effect, until they sprout.
any suggestions or advice is greatly aprreciated guys :D .
looks like a normal closet right? guess what's in the far right corner :rasta: .

For the first week of sprout I might keep the lights going for 24 7 and then swich to the 18 6 sequence. Do you have any fresh air coming in? Also, what are you doing for smell? As far as everything else, it seems fine. Good job.

thanks man, as far as smell, i'm using one of those magic odor easters (the citrus kind) that look like a hockey puck, and a cedar odor eater that you hang in a closet, so i think i'm good.
guys, i have an important problem though, the lights I'm using get kind of warm, and after a temp. reading, it's about 23 degrees celcius w/o lights on, and goes up to about 28 after leveling out with both lights on. is this light temp. too high for a lowryder??? i mean lowryders are supposed to adapt well to very different climates... don't have to worry about leaves burning and touching them, but still, will my plants thrive in this temp. zone??? (23-28)

Get some more fans. If I'm not mistaken, enough fans added will do the job, especially with a small grow op like that. And try to get some of that air extracted or some fresh air of some sort. Are you like growing in your parents home or somethin? I dunno anything about your condition but I asked that because when the lights are on try to keep the closet open with the fans blowing to help the air circulate.
