Rescued seedling from outside-- help!
My brother had this bagseed growing in a pot outdoors, but it was dying, so I am bringing it indoors to try and rescue it. I already repotted it with a perlite/good potting soil mix. I watered it well before transplanting, and stuck it under a 25W screw in type CFL . This is temporary until I see if it lives. If it picks up, Im getting a HPS, and will go all out etc..
So here is the plant 24 hrs. later. Since transplanting, two leaves started to curl . I watered today with good water (my waste water from an RO system) and 1/4tsp p/g of superthrive. Right now the plant is on its 6 hour rest period before I will turn the light on. What do you guys think? Is it going to make it? What else can I do? should I stake it up so it isnt laying over so much? -- oh yeah, I also have a fan gently blowing it... just enough to make it wiggle a bit.

i would put it under some flouros 4-5 inches away.maybe put it under a dome.it is possible it will make it but not likely.

by dome, do you mean a humidity type dome, or a dome reflector for the screw in CFL.. cazuse it is under a dome reflector.. the bulb is a 5600K CFL...

yes i mean a humidity dome.the dome will help to take the stress off of the root system

don't mess with it if it is going to make it is going to make it.do not mist the plant.make sure you let your soil dry out between waterings do not over water.hope it makes it, good luck

That plant looks gone to me. I think it would be easier to just start a new seedling and go from there.

you know what, it is actually picking up.. it is starting to straighten out, and head toward the light. I did lose the 2 largest leaves, but the sets of leaves at the top still look really healthy. I have high hopes for this guy, I may be optimistic, but she may make it yet!
Thanx for the replys, I will post more pics when thereis more to report!

here are some recent pics. The seedling has definetly shown signs of improvemnet. It is showing a yellow tinge to its leaves, so I feel its time I get this into some good light. I am gonna get some more CFL screw-ins, and build a small hood/enclosure for them. I have a small fan blowing on it from across the room a bit, it give it a gentle wiggle. I am watering it like every 2-2.5 days, just when it feels damp an inch below the surface....
I welcome any advice!
