i got my grades on tuesday and my dads still mad

so i got my grades on tuesday and my dads still mad, i think its fucked up, i come to school high alot and i think these grades are great for a person like me

*math-A
p.e.- B
*world studies- B
*english-B
*economics-B+
biology-A

hes mad at those grades, i think those grades are great

* indicates a higher course

yea, those are good grades, especially if those ones with the * are like AP classes right? besides if you're still in high school as long as you pass it's all good. colleges these days are looking less and less into "letter grades & GPA's", they're more interested in the person themselves and their work eithic. you live in gig harbor, i'm over in bothell, 15-20 min. north of seattle.

the ones with the * are a grade level up (like a sophomore level class, im a freshman) or there an honors class,

If i got those grades and my parents were angry I'd smack them in the face with my penis.

Are your parents foreign? That might explain why.

oh my god. if i had grades like those i would be so proud of myself.

Take it from a former teacher, who's the daughter of two professors. Those are good grades to be proud of. Your dad should praise you. I wonder if he has some other issues--like self-esteem of jealousy problems of his own--that cause him not to be able to give you positive praise for a job well done.

funny thing, i saw my 6th grade english teacher today at the store i work at. AND she recognized me. i havent seen her in years and my hair changes my apperance so much.

and id be so proud of those grades. dont listen to your dad unless youve dropped in your grades, but still, advanced classes? your a very smart kid. dont waste it.

man, that sounds like my dad was, hes a hard-ass teacher, hed always say i wasnt good enough, the secret is to not give a shit. :D
