Can I get Bud from a male plant?

Is it possible to get any decent amount of bud from male plants? I just noticed thier sex and I am pissed off. I need some good seeds. Anyone can help please let me know.

no, buds are the female reproductive organs (in nature, they are designed to serve as vessels to house the seeds once pollinated). Since the male reproductive organs are pollen sacks and not buds, they cannot produce smokable product. Think of it as when u smoke weed, you are smoking the "womb" or "placentia" or "pussy". Furthermore, male plants naturally produce very low thc levels. That is, any trichomes which might be on the plant.

So I should just kill these bastards and start again. It just seems pointless to grow unless you have feminized seeds or you are growing hydro. with clones.

...why would it be pointless to grow....kill the male plants keep the female plants.....

What I meant was it pointless to use these certain seeds since I am not sure of the sex, cause I have been out good seeds and cant afford any due my work injury. It sure is pretty interesting growing indoor. I think the thing I meant about hydro is I think thats the way I want to grow when I move and get back on my feet(literally). I have 2 400w hps lights and a couple videos on setting up hydro, I have seen a couple diff. ways. I just need to get a hold of some good female seeds.
My boys looked so good.

See, thats what a kid would say.

Why is it pointless? It's not if you know how to grow. You should expect some males.

The idea is love them all, and when you sex, keep the females and finsish them....

You don't need good seeds if you are just starting out! You can get decent bud from decent bagseed if you treat it right. I'm pretty sure that is how the majority of people start.

Besides bagseed is like kinda free so you can plant as many as you have and not worry that some are males because you sort of didn't pay for it...
Once you get your method down then sell someone an ounce of your bagseed buds and invest that money in in some real genetics! Problem solved!
