i have noticed all these "issues" popping up....gay marriage, immigration, internet reform, flag burning etc...
i think these are more like "distractions" from real issues like....hmm lets see...war, gas gouging(they swept that one far under the rug), weak-ass laws for perverts, the fact that the moral fabric of our society is being used as toilet paper...fucking politics...
I'm too stoned to worry about gas xD...ugh my hands are sweaty. I just hope they dont filter what we are able to do on the internet..I'd be pretty PISSED.
Is it illegal to burn other countries flags? When USA lost last week in the world cup, I wanted to burn the czech flag... those bastards!
It's very real and it's a frighteningly likely possibility that the big phone and cable companies will get the control they want. And which they don't need to have. All parts of the Internet need to be accessible by everyone, not just those who pay the most money for the highest-bandwidth access. Make your voices heard through those feedback mechanisms on the link provided above. This is like a sort of mix of censorship with low-income discrimination.
Lol, you know now that you've mentioned it. It does seem that way huh?Quote:

Hi, sweetie! Did you get rained out from that storm? I can't remember which part of Florida you're in.
Good for you on the petition. I signed it, too. And I sent an email to my representatives as well. I doubt it'll help, tho. Those companies have some big-time lobbyists, and they'll make sure they've wined and dined everyone so they'll vote on this issue in their favor. Sad.
OK, I'm signing off for a while now. Time for supper here.
