Pros And Cons of weed and the body?...

I want your opinion guys. I heard someone say that weed was a antipsycotic drug and another say and proven I believe that it will also cause schitzophrena<SP?. I would sometimes think people are talking shit to me but they really arent. I think this is called auditory hallucinations. I think this happened before I even smoked. I think I care what people think about me too much, i dont know :( . Lol, I am in high school though, so that does play a bigger factor in this discussion, with the shallowness and all.

Cannabis definatly doesnot cause any form of cancer in any living cell, and claims that is causes schitzophrenia or however its spelt havnt been proven, just claimed.

Really, cannabis causes no health efects at all, apart from short term memory loss.

Spart from one con, cannabis is all pros.

Which is why its so stupid keeping it ilegal.

What are your thoughts on cannibas psychosis then? I have a thread going on about that actually..

I don't think weed is an anti-psychotic. I also don't think it causes schizo tendencies or simulated schizo tendencies. Lots and lots of people toke but I've never heard of any stoner being diagnosed with a mental disorder directly related to weed. And don't worry about a little paranoia (thinking people are talking shit), it keeps you safe. After all, everyone is out to get you. :D

Because weed can be psychologically addictive, people who are susceptible(sp?) to schizo can get it from excessive weed use.

I also heard that excessive weed use can cause gynocomastia(bitch tits / man-boobs), acne and anti-social behaviour.

But I still say - so what?

Anything can be psychologically addictive. You could be psychologically addicted to doorknobs.

But at the end of the day human beings have been using the herb for hundreds of years and not a single user since then has complained. I say take whatever you hear with a pinch of salt and enjoy the high.
