Iam just growing for the first time I just bought some seeds through duch seeds.com they are shiva shanti II i haven't goten them yet. and i don't really know anything about growing and don't really have any money i was worndering if it was too late to plant them outside here because i don't have any where that i can use as a grow room not sure when they will get here.
you need to germinate those seeds before you throw them in the ground, please have a look at the FAQ's for info on this and other topics.
i know i need to germinate them first but i have other questions like is it too late to plant them outdoors now?
Where I live i'td be perfect time now(always sunny in my town :) ). If the outdoor temps at your location at night don't get below like 55f you should be ok (my mustard is doing fine) but I've never grown sweet leaf outside, only indoors. YMMV
ok thanks 4x5 but i probly want be abel to plant my seeds till like june cause they haven't arrived yet but hope to get them soon. so do you think thats too late to get anything from them befor frost? I really hope to
It's pushing it, it would be late september/eary october, if your weather usually sucks by then(tenessee I've seen 60deg in january), you may want to wait till next year, you could plant some bagseed now instead of wasting the expensive seeds, you'll learn a lot even if they don't mature fully.
The more prepared for a crop the better I say

if you plant them now, you could probly get away with harvesting them a lil prematureley.
if u do grow indoors,write down wat u do,so u dont mak same mistake twice,easier to get help,and so u can make adjustments,this will save u loads of time.main thiing u need to worrie about is,get the watering right,if u have too take some bag seed,plant it i several pots,water each with diff. amonts of water,to see which it likes best.take 1 pot same size as the one ur growin in,fill it with ur dry mix,weigh its dry weight,wen plant ur growin in weighs the amont of the pot with dry soil or very near their water.read growfaq s to,and good luck/buthead and the bvisssss:cool:

but maybe if i wait till next year i could have a place by then
