hard soil?
today, i was just checking up the status on the plant and i was touching the soil on my plant which are over 2 months old. they soil in the middle seem hard. is it suppose to be this way? (i got scared and flushed it because it was also developing yellow leaves on the bottom)

hard soil?
Not sure about the soil in the middle being hard, but thats where the roots form at first so it could be down to that.
Oh, and leaves fall off/turn yellow/die during flowering, its nothing to be worried about... as long as it starts from the bottom up, that is. If its only got a few weeks left until harvest, at least youve got the flushing out the way so that when shes dried ittl taste a lot better. When I buy Herb that hasnt been flushed properly, I always get a headache, whether its schwagg, mids or 'dank'.

hard soil?
Well, the soil shouldnt be too hard because the plant need oxygen to the roots.

hard soil?
Maybe add more perlite next time.25% perlite to 75% soil at least.

Only your KAK should be hard when you are looking at your plants.. never your soil
and now you KNOWM

hard soil?
the 2 plants is not in the flowering cycle. each of the plant is under a 42 watt cfl 24/0. I added more perlite when i transplanted, but i didn't do it when i began the grow. what can i do to not make it hard?

hard soil?
would the "N" defficiency be the cause of the yellow leaves or could there be another problem that is causing the yellow leaves?
-
hard soil?
yes that may be the problem..
Have you been watering with PH balanced water of 6.8-6.8 (or near that)?
Is the stem red?
The leaf that is yellow?Where is it? TOP? BOTTOM? middle?
can you post a picture?
grrrrrrrrr

stem is green, yellowing is only occuring on bottom and i been watering with only distilled water.

hard soil?
he mentuoned it was on the bottom so i'm guessing it's the plants natural ability to shut off leaves that aren't keeping up anymore , the bottom leaves are essentially useless so they get rid of them to save energy, to loosen the soil just break it up with your finger making sure you don;t harm the roots youonly need to go about an inch and a half to two inches down.
