Disposal of Plant Trimmings

I'm not too sure what forum this belongs in...but it seems to be a growroom set up question. What do you guys do with all the leaves, branches, etc. after you harvest?

I know throwing them away is a bad idea.

I'm thinking of making a compost heap in my backyard or possibly making some stealth runs to my local park to toss that stuff out.

Any suggestions?

Well, I use the trimmings to make a little hash.

But any growth before harvest is usually composted, anything after is chopped up, frozen, and sifted -- like the video in the link below.

Make em all into cuttings and grow a 10km² forest somewhere outside?

Heck, I smoke everything but the stems :)

I take it all and am planning on making a big batch of oil. :D

(a big batch being half a capful - a capful)

Well, there's a large dumpster used by our whole building, so I don't worry about small amounts buried in heaps of trash. However, you could start a worm farm and feed it to them - then use the worm castings to feed your new plants :D

Just make some hash...sometimes u get good polen hash out of a couple grams trimmings....and if by any chance u run out of pot u have ur hash just waittin..

When you throw them out, have a DEDICATED trash can/bag JUST for trimmings... ie: HIGHLY ILLEGAL STUFF.

A 8-inch diameter leaf, only came from one place... and cops know it did NOT come from a dime bag.

So anyways, when your trash bag is full, or you're done with it... get in your car... and go throw it out somewhere.... away from your home.

Carefull with places that have cameras... if somebody finds the bag, they could "backtrack" the video tape until the see who dropped it there (problem if you're in a car).

I just read where a guy in my town got busted when the garbage man found child porn in his trash..and that's ok because he deserved it BUT if they found that in his trash, then I would be scared to put any thing related to weed in it..
