Cotyledons not fully opening
So interesting thing, a White Widow doesn't wanna fully open its cotyledons! (seed leaves) I can clearly see the typical and appropriate true leaf growth coming along full speed ahead, but I'm wondering if I should clip the cotyledons out of the way. The other seed that was sprouted with this one has had its cotyledons open longer already.

bump
The true leaves keep growing, so I dunno what to do, I don't know if those cotyledons will impede the growth.

Thanks, as always for replying Karmaxul.
This photo is a bit blurry, I don't have a good macro on my digicam. However, you can see it relative to the other seedling in the background. Although that other one is Ice. (Yes, I know, alot of stretch. Germenated under flouros, but now moved it to HPS and about to put it into hydro).
So what do you think?

sometimes part of the inside of the seed shell gets stuck to the cotyledons, what i would do is use a pointy instrument to gently pry them apart. after that it should grow normally. if you dont do anything it will most likely seperate on its own, but it might be a little deformed.

I would let them dry. Are you feeding anything?
She looks fine

I'll just keep an eye on it. It's in hydro now tonight. As far as feeding, I was giving her a very diluted grow big solution.

A nick on the end of a coty shouldn't hurt it much.
;)
I'd be afraid prying might tear something.

After my day is done and I go home, I'll check on it. If the cotyledons aren't fully open, I'll clip them off carefully. There's true leaves, so it's not like it won't be able to perform photosynthesis.
Besides, they tend to fall off eventually.

That may cause stress. The cotyledons store the food as I am sure you know. If it aint broke dont fix it is what I go by.
