It will run it but u will get really low frams per second (FPS) and thats with all the cool shadows and techtures off. I would recomend getting a new vidio card,Processor, and maybe even another 512 of RAM.That will give you the best game play, but sure u can prob run it.
i am getting a new video card along with the game tommorow its an ati and im blowin 300 bux on it so it better be worth it lol and if i switched my processesor what higher could i go too?
o and im playing this game high since i tend to get more scared when im high lol
o i might need help switching out the vid cards like what should i do? instructions please lol if anyone has the time i would appreciate it
altho ive never actually done it myself, itz pretty easy ta replace yer video card. i coodnt tell ya where aboutz in yer puter the card iz, but i do kno that wit my puter, basically all they had 2 do wuz pull the old card out, n slide the other one in. perhapz i am wrong but thatz wut i wuz told

Yah that vidio card should be fine, the cpu should be fine as well but if you want to upgrade i would go with the ahtlon 2500+ and overclock it to a 3000+ it will lower the life time a bit but u can prob pick one up for around 60-70$ maybe lower if on sale.
To install your new vidio card........
-Shut down your PC
-Unplug the power cable and all other connections from the case
-Open the case
-Ground yourself of static electricty by touching something metal
-Find the vidio card and unscrew the screw holding it to the case
-Remove the vidio card from the motherboard
-Install the new vidio card into the same slott
-Close the case
-Plug everything back into the case
-Start up your PC
-If your card didnot come with a CD with the latest drivers go to the website and find your vidio card and there driver section
-Download and install the drivers and restart your PC
There you go u have a new vidio card and are ready to play some doom3
Good luck and post if u need further help.
sweet i cant wait this video card is suppost to be kick ass lol but knowing the computer industry it will be old about an hour after i buy it lol, but thanks for the advice i will be shure to blow a zombies face off for you guys lol :D
I would recomend that u get atleast 2-3 years in with this card there is really no game out right know except for doom3 that needs that kind of power, but soon all games will be made with the same engines as doom3 and hl2 and everyone will have to upgrade if they want the preformance the game can show. good luck agin,
thanks guys i will tell you my oppinion on the game when i play it but im really excited lol
