Strange leaf growth
I'm pretty new to this game, but I've done a fair bit of research and now I've started my first grow...
The first set of leaves to come out of the sprout are getting bigger, but seem to be growing more on one side than the other, making them curve. (see pic)
Has anyone seen this before, and is it anything to worry about? The colour looks healthy I think.
P.S
I'm growing in my closet with 2 growlite tube lights.

looks good man
move your lights like 2 inches away or so to avoid the stretch

Cheers man, yeah, lights are closer now.
So you reckon that the leaf shape is ok? I just thought it looked strange compared to other pictures I've seen. They look like bloody horns!

By the way, The strain is Skunk #11, by Dutch Passion. It is also feminised.
I was just wondering what others thought of this specific strain... Have any of you smoked it? What can I expect? (all assuming that the feminised seed turns out to be a girly as advertised!)

you need to add perlite to your soil when you mix it. with mj the roots love air. if you don't add perlite when you repot your opening yourself up to all sorts of problems such as root rot to name 1. i'm very suprised that none of the above posters noticed! i like to use at least 1/3 perlite but recently have been using even more than that with excellent results. without perlite the roots just suffocate. your plant looks good(a little stretched)i just wanted to give you a heads up before you have any problems. also if that is peat, which it looks like, you need to make sure you add 1-2 tbsp dolimitic lime per gal of soilmix to raise the ph to the low 6's. peat is naturally very acidic and will cause nute lockouts if not counteracted with lime or another akaline substance, i think plaster will do the same but dolimitic lime is easy. it's hard to add to much. i have added as much as 8tbsp to a gall of soil as an experiment and the ph was still only 7.0. just be careful because they also sell hydrated lime which is much more powerful than the dolimitic lime and can be easily overdosed.

Nah, the potting medium is just general compost dude. It was just very dry when the photo was taken. I was going to add perlite as soon as I re-pot, cos I dont want to screw it up by being a cheap ass!
Any comments on the strain?
