Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

I recorded it (courtesy of Sky+) and watched it this morning, smoked 4 bowls throughout the film's duration.
Let me start off by saying I thoroughly enjoyed it, and am now about to ask for it on Dvd for Christmas :D

I am telling you this because I want you to answer something for me.
What is that small package thing they break open (I can't remember Johnny or Benecio's characters names lol) and sniff, that gets them really fucked up? It kind of looks like powder to me.. I was thinking mescaline, but then thought against it, someone like to confirm this for me?

Anyway, I'm glad I saw it was on tv, and glad that many of you on here have posted about the film and rated it so highly.

The 1st time I saw fear and loathing - I didnt like it, but maybe its one of those movies you need to watch twice so I will give it another go before I make up my mind. I dont see how I cant like a drug-themed movie..... :confused:

I love Raoul's (Depp's) voice, the way he talks in monotone llol.

I really liked it first time, and have asked for it for xmas now :D

FaLiLV is my fucking bible dude, it's like a friggen car or something driving and you have to have the steering wheel, I have to have this movie. Possibly one of Jonny Depps GREATEST acting positions.

Yes, I enjoy that movie, and after seeing it so many times throughout the years, I watched it last week and I still laugh my ass when I watch it. So yes, I quite enjoy that movie.

If you ask me, Johnny Depp got that role down perfect! After seeing Depp, then watching Hunter, the only diff. I could find between them was the age.
