Can pot help one feel better whilst enduring the common cold? Will it reduce the interference of a runny nose or a sore throat?

hell yeah it will make you feel better. not only does it get you 10 times as stoned when your sick, but it clears up your congestion. it also has anti inflammatory effects.

As much as we all like to deny it, Weed is not a multivitamin that will help everything. It's a proven fact that weed weakins the immune system. Im not sayin dont' smoke, because god knows i smoked when i had mono and strep throat at the same time. It will most likely make you feel better, but it will probably make you stay sick longer.

I must agree with the "you stay sick longer" comment...but i can tell that once it's gone (the flu) don't expect it to come back any time soon! and it's true you feel better only WHILE your high...

i didnt smoke last night cause i have a monster cold , my chest / lungs hurting bad enough didnt want to put smoke in em , but thats just me =D

There has been many of times,including about 2 weeeks ago where i had a major cold,smoked and it helped me breathe easier.I heard somewhere that smoking herb while sick helps open the broncial vessils and the air passage.Not sure if this is true but is sure helped me.Please dont flame me because im new LoL.Just putting in my 2 cent.LOL Peace,Good herb,and good Karma too you all.DGF :D :thumbsup:

I find that right after takin a rip my nose will run, making it easier to blow my nose, but at the same time it makes taking that rip a whole lot more painful because ur lungs hurt like a sonofabitch. It helps loosen phlegm in the chest because it dialates the bronchial tubes.
