Salvia...

ok i wanted to try some salvia but wanted to know a little about it, ive researched a little bit and have looked on such sites as www.erowid.org. questions that im still wondering are...

*how is it smoked? i know that it is best to use a bong/hazooka(sp?) but i was wondering do you have to grind/break it up? or just put the whole leaf in there?

*anything i should worry about as a first time user?

*what is the high/trip like?

*what are good prices for salvia?

*where is a good place to order from?

*how much should i smoke, to become high?(its my first time)

*any other suggestions that you might have would be great.

Hey Noobie - Please take care, you dont smoke salvia to get high - if you wanna get high, smoke weed or drop a pill.

Salvia is a very powerful hallucinogenic/dissosiative (sp?) so you arent gonna feel like you feel after you smoke a doobie or anything - the Indian Mazatecs use this plant to contact the spirit/dream world so you need to keep your wits about you and know roughly what t expect so you dont get a nasty shock -I watched someone freak out on it BIGTIME- Id recommend you read as many trip reports as you can on erowid before buying

Anyway, I bought x15 on a Friday from Deva Ethnobotanicals and it arrived Monday! It was 20 pounds for 1 gram, def recommend using their site

For your first time i would suggest 5x... just to get used to the weird feelings it can create, then pick your strength... they all produce a different trip every time you smoke them...

but know this. nothing will prepare you, no matter what you expect, its gonna be mindblowing.

pack about 1/3 of a bowl, and torch it the entire time you're hitting it.

and it is most crucial that you hold your hit for a minimum of 30 seconds, unlike thc, salvinorin absorbs quite slowly... if the first hit doesnt effect you, take another shortly after and you will trip balls

also, set the bong down immediately after you are done hitting it, or you could end up with some shattered glass

I have a question too, im a n00b. Is that stuff dangerous? More dangerous than weed? I mean its not like anything in terms of dangerousness when compared to harsher drugs, or is it? Will i get addicted, will i get crazy....Tell me, im a stupid n00b.
