Hey everyone,
We were having a talk in history class about our rights about being searched and someone brought up weed. My teacher said that without probable cause, or consent a teacher can come up to me and search my bag, self, or car. I thought that this was completely wrong, but didnt want to bring anything up to my teacher so he wouldnt think i smoke. Do you guys know if this is true. Thanks.
ya without consent at school yes. thats why there are random drug searches (at my school) they search in lockers and check around in cars.\
At school you have to give up sertain rights.
Funny how in a society of free speach one can't voice thier opinion without fear of legal retribution. ah well, I probably just can't understand it, being a burnt out dope fiend and all.
The school's SRO(student resourse(sp) officer) has to be present as well as the princable(sp),but yes they can search you for any reason,it's called reasonable suspicion,my princable has been known to expell people for haveing red eyes and being tierd(and out school district upheld these,you may have heard of our district,we made national news by banning shakespear from our librarys and diclared themselfs a christian school district,it's Bay County BTW,florida)sorry for so many misspelled words,i'm very drunk :)
Ya we learned some shit in a court class once back in freshman year. It's called like Loco Parentis or something and it basically says that since your parents have the right to search you whenever, the school is considered your guardian while your at school and they have the right to search you there. It's confusing.
So sorry to report that the Constitution has been buried for almost 100 years. Ask your teacher to show you the document where the Civil War ended. We are all looking for that one.
In the meantime, go to http://www.onlinetv.com/nuke and in the free downloads area in the documents lays the Patriot Act. This replaces the defunct Bill of Rights that once was so important to Americans. Read it and weep.
As a citizen, or subject of the corporation "USA" you have no more connection to the Republic with its great inalienable rights and its protections. Instead, as you will hear your corporate president declare, you are in a Democracy and will obey the "rule of law". He will never talk about the guaranteed Republic or common law, or inalienable rights. Wonder, wonder wonder. What happened to America? Ask your teacher these questions and demand the truth. Why are we a Democracy when it is a Republic we should be? Why didnt the Civil War End? Why are we ruled by Presidential Orders and where in the Constitution does he get this power? Why did the states give up their right to seat the Senate and President and give that up to Mob Rule?
You see now, they can do ANYTHING they want to you. Ask questions, that is why you are there. Dont take their crap. If you need documents I will point you to them.
Take the Patriot Act, take the Constitution, ask how can they work together? One a document of freedom, one of enslavement. Which pill do you choose?

i thought they had to have a reason to search, not probable cause, but if you talk about it or if a teacher overhears someone say "so and so has weed on him" idk but id be like "fuck you" but yeah they can search ur locker, cause its their property, but i didnt know they could search you and your bookbag...
idk i seriously hate the bullshit minors go through on minor offenses, like you get a ticket if your an adult if you have less than a certain amount of bud, but if ur a minor you'll most likely get probation...its fucking bullshit, i hate nebraska
