Business Owners?

You know how everyone always seems to say that pot will ruin your life because it makes you lazy. Yeah it chills us out and lets us relax, but I don't think it inhibits anyone from having a good job and successful life.

It seems that's the persons choice, not the weed.

I know it's true because I have three friends who all own their own business and are doing really well, and smoke all the time. One of them has smoked his whole life.
Even my husband and I are starting our own business.
I'm using this for an example because, it takes a great deal of work and commitment.
So where do people get the idea that it is going to ruin your life or make you lazy so you never do anything with yourself?

I dont know i think its just crazy talk .... and most the people that say that are feds..... or .... governent or political ppl.

I also own a business and am quite successful. Those rumors about weed are bullshit.

id be intersted to hear of any sucessfull business people in any way that smoke.
although 90% of the posters here seem to be under 18 or immature, so id doubt much of a response

Anyway, Ive had a few successful ventures in my life so far. I have always preferred finding a niche and working for myself. The work is much harder but I benefit and not the 'boss' moving ahead in life based partly on my sweat.
It takes a lot of brains, motivation, and determination and pot does not interfere with that for me but actually enhances it.
My 2 closest friends also own their own business and toke.
As does my step father, my brother, and several old highschool buddies.
So I have yet to see any evidence in my life that pot sucks the life right out of you.
It all depends what you start with.

Very true, most people who say those things either have never smoked pot or are some sort of authority.
But I hear people who smoke weed say this!
It upsets me because being lazy is your own choice, and I hate to see people give pot a bad name by agreeing it makes you lazy.

What sort of business do you own?
My husband and I are starting a Pest Control Business, surprisingly alot of money in it.
Since i'm a woman I'm a minority in the field so, were getting a garnt for 150,000 to start.
And since my cousin owns a pest control business they are helping us get started.
I currently work for them as well/
And he is also the guy who has smoked all his life.
They will be able to sell in 4 years and retire. and he's only 32, and they've owned it for only 3years.

Also my husband was an electrician for awhile and the guy he worked for, the owner, would toke up with us all the time.
Even thor us in some for a bonus :) That was a sweet deal

I'm a contractor, and effectively sellf employed. I've been caining it for donkeys years, but still managed to pick a few 1st class BScs and MSc/Ma, so anyone telling you cannabis stopped them achieving anything is just trying to cover the fact they're lazy bastards.

Yeah, when my husband was working as an electrician we hung out with alot of contractors, every single one that I knew smoked.
That's why I get upset when people who smoke pot try and blame it for their laziness. Not saying being lasy is evil or anything, it's not. It's your life, everyone gets to choose what they want to do with it.
I mean just because someone if financially successful doesn't make them better then anyone else. That's just what they decided to do.
Most important thing is to be happy with what your doing with yourself.
Just don't blame the ganja :)

dont judge someone by the quality of his piss but by the quality of his work. actually i think weed makes ppl way happiest and smiley, and sociable, so i guess it helps to work even better.

coz i hate fuckin grumpy unhappy fuckers that answer u in a store or whatever.
