People From Minnesota

Hello Cannabis Members,:thumbsup:

This is my second post and I would like to start by saying hello to all.. My name is max and I live in saint paul Minnesota.

I moved to mn about 4 months ago and I am having the hardest time with the plant that I love so much.. The issue I starting having is the fact that I keep getting ripped off. 3.0 for 60 and I go through about 7 to 10 g a week. Before I moved out here I used to pay 10 to 15 a Gr or (3.5 to 4 for 45 to 50 or 7.0 to 8 for 90 to 100 for high grade) and a qtr would last me a week, but now Iâ??m constantly thinking about the plant even when I have it, I think about getting more. I recently went to a doctor and told her my issue and how I believe that cannabis is helping me with depression. She prescribed me Citalopram 20mg for anxiety and depression, but Iâ??m still smoking a lot. I just wished I could meet more honest people here in mn.

It would be so nice if MN legalized it for medical.

Anyway thatâ??s my introduction to this board and my rant for the day.:)

I can sympathize greatly, once upon a time I too was a resident of St. Paul, Eagan actually, and it was next to impossible to find anything worth a crap. Everything was bricked up, and they seemed to have no comprehension of what "good" weed was. If you were lucky enough to find it, you were paying through the ears for a pinched sack.

Most of us out here have gotten fed up with that whole vicious cycle and learned to provide our own. Talk about a cure for depression, growing gives me something to look forward to, and something to think about to cure my racing wandering mind. Plenty of people around here willing to help you out in that endeavor.

Yes it does seem impossible to find decent strains here. I think that's what starts my anxiety and the fact that the person who I'm getting it from is over pricing too much.

I have been thinking about growing outdoors as I would not be allowed to do it at my home. What sucks is I have a huge basement, but my girlfriend is the reason I can't grow. Actually, she hates the fact that I smoke.

Leave her then... lol... you know how awesome your life would be if you just spent 120$ on a 600 watt hps you could get up to 2-3 lbs a year EASILY... but its your choice bra

I know, I should leave her, but I also love her so it's a hard choice. Wow I really do need to start growing. I was talking to her about it last night and she said no way would she ever allow in the house, so I told her I will be doing some outdoor next year.

Im from Minnesota as well and run the web site Minnesota Medical Marijuana Coalition, we also have a FaceBook group. we would love to have you join us inn the fight to get it legalized.

I'm getting much better now and very potent at fair prices. What I was getting before from the 20 a g guy was garbage compared to what I get now from the new people I met. I guess it all about meeting the right people.

Update to this thread:

I no longer take Anxiety and depression pills, only the natural:rastasmoke::pimp::rasta::stoned: :jointsmile: :smokin: I never really need them, just need the potent:stoned:

MN is now a great place to me. I met some really cool people and they a certainly in it for the love.
